Your an idiot..you don't know much about Roy...Roy beat B-HOP more convincingly than did Joe...Joe hasn't done much...his best win is a mere 2 points over BHOP...Roy moved to HW and beat a HW with ease..Joe couldn't do that...ur fault

he did give a taste of his own medicine but sooner or later someone will come up and give calzaghe a taste of it too thats if he does not retire and i think it'll be hopkins to do so and that is if joe isn;t scared to take the fight

I'm a big RJJ fan, I think he was hugely gifted and a great fighter. But Rico has a point to a certain degree, a number of Roy's opponents over the years have been flat-out awful. Good job he has a prime James Toney on his record to remedy that :good

    Nigel Benn

    Chris Eubank

Dariusz (****ed if i;m speilling his 2nd name)

    Gerald McClellan

    Frankie Liles

    Steve Collins

    Hopkins rematch 2001-2003

Wins over any of these fighters greatly enhances his resume. Rico has a point.

Wasnt he the linear, unified and undisputed champ? The one to beat?...the light heavyweight division wasnt really packed full of talent at the time..he did manage to beat james toney,b-hop and a few other decent names. The only person he didnt fight that i can think of was michleawski? spelling is way off but im too lazy to look it up, and thats because the guy wouldnt fight roy here. And after the korean olympic incident, i dont blame him. So by all means, lets see a list of who he avoided in his time who was the lineal or undisputed champ.

Nigel Benn wasnt lineal or undisputed, neither was Mclellan. Frankie liles, chris eubank or steve collins. They were good fighters but never great, basicallly known for fighting eachother and thats it. HOw long was McClellan champ before he got hurt, after that benn was never the same. Roy would have destroyed Eubank and all of the other fighters mention besides maybe darius. The only one that could be legitimate would be the b-hop rematch. But roy was fighting at light heavy, super middle weight at the time as well. And since both have massive massive egos, they would have never agreed over the purse split. old man Hopkins has to be th emost frugal ******* ive ever seen.

Delahoya did not fight Hopkins at 170. That was a 160 lb fight

Rico is a joke there is never any truth to what he says. he makes threads to annoy people, much like a disillusioned 5 year old he needs attention, hence all his glassjaw bull****.

    Champions Roy Has beaten:

    Current: Toney (P4P nr1/2)
    Hopkins (vacant)
    Reggie Johnson (IBF lightheavy)
    Mike Mcculum (WBC)
    Montell Griffin (WBC)
    Lou Del Valle (WBA)
    Antonio Tarver(WBC/IBF/IBO)
    John Ruiz

    former champs -

    Paz
    Malinga
    Julio Gonzalez
    Clinton Woods
    Otis Grant
    Trinidad

    14 Champs

that aint bad for smoke screen and mirrors along with Fighter of the 90's

unbeaten for 50+ fights (excukding disqual)

2st fighter in 100 years to go to Heavy

1st fighter in history to move back down from Heavy to win the Light Heavy championship at AGE 35.

Oh and hes been real reluctant with opposition ..picking Glenn Johnson after Tarver. lol

    Compare to JOes:

8 World champs only 3 current.

The latter is more smoke screen and mirrors. Jones also did it in far better style.

    ROFL

When jones faught Hopkins Hopkins was 28 was a brutal attacking Middleweight, he turned into a counter puncher late on working spurts.

Go on Youtube and see what a recking machine Hopkins was.

I disagree both were green, they didnt have the notoriaty that they do now, it wasnt an event liek it would have been now or a few years ago.

Also didnt Jones win that fight with one hand? Joe wouldnt even fight with one hand vs Glenn Johnson lol
