This topic was done about 2 times already. Im to lazy to find it but if you just go to the search function and search "Adamek Hopkins 1.2" you should find it.

And you don't have to enable anything when your posting a vid anymore. All you have to do is post the link and it enables itself due to the more advanced forum ESB is using now.

"Adamek and [promoter] Kathy Duva should be disappointed. They had a chance to fight a 44-year-old legend that he doesn't have on his résumé for a half-a-million dollars. I fought William Joppy [in 2003] and I was a champion with 16 title defenses," Hopkins said.

"I made $300,000. Let's keep it real -- outside of the Polish race, who knows Adamek? Ask the nearest Mexican about Adamek and they will ask, 'who?' He beats Hopkins, he's marketable. I beat Adamek, so what? At the end of the day, some promoters negotiate for themselves first and think about the fighters second. That's what happened here."

    Convict,racist and now blatant liar.

This coming from someone under the username PolisPummler. Should we believe you or Hopkins?

    I'll stick with Hopkins.

This thread backfired...Hopkins mentions 1.2 mill 2 months later and only after Adamek moved on.Nice move.

Find me any shred of evidence that mentions 1.2 mill before the date of Friday May 8th 2009, and get back to me.

Yeah, I especially like the way Hopkins appreciates Mayweather. He is objective and his ego doesn't prevent him from giving credit where it is due - to Floyd and Pac.

I don't know about the whole Hopkins-Adamek fiasco. 500k was an insult and Adamek rightly rejected that. But 1.2, while still a pretty low offer, is reasonable considering Adamek could really finally break into the mainstream. I'd like to hear someone from team Adamek about that 1.2 offer.

I don't need to provide evidence it's called common sense, even if Hopkins offered him 20 dollars he should have taken it immediately. What other big fights can Adamek get right now?, if anything this was a great opportunity for him to make big money if he won. He's hardly popular to demand more money especially when Hopkins was the one reaching out to make the fight, Adamek is simply not in a position to make any demands.

It's all about taking risks, you take a big risk and if it goes well the big money fights eventually come after it. Adamek turned this one down, 500k or 1.2m.

That's very likely. I missed that Adamek lawyer statement (obviously).
