The question is how much would Hopkins make. Adamek is the Ring champion at cruiser and this was a chance for Hopkins to TRULY cement his legacy beating the real champion at that weight. This fight would improve Hopkins' legacy tremendously (and was winnable for him). As a matter of principle Adamek shouldn't get less than 30% and 1.2 is probably way less than that.
