One of the most overrated victories ever. Hatton practically made his carrier over that overrated win.

Only assholes and lowlifes will get over this. A circus show like that will ALWAYS be mentioned especially after Hatton fought elite fighters where he wasn't allowed to apply cheating tactics and ended up on the canvas.

It was very blatant though and he wasn't even warned. Hatton could have stabbed him in there and gotten away with it

  4. Thats it a Yank does it, he is a genius, Hatton does it.... he is a dirty cheat

Hopkins can be dirty yes, but has never won a fight by completely relying on dirty tactics like Hatton did... Open your ****ing eyes.

Ok Hatton should have got a slap on the wrist for the low blow, agreed.

  7. It's funny because not ONCE have I heard Kosta come out and say he was cheated...... Should we point out how much leway Cortez gave Hopkins when he fought Joe.

Headbutts, Faking Injury, Excessive Holding etc.... nothing done by Cortez

As I mentioned already, Hatton applied these tactics in the face of the referee and all night, he didn't even TRY to hide any illegal tactic/move. At least when Hopkins is caught doing any of that he's warned and even got a point deducted. Remind me of a fight where he lowblowed someone as retaliation the way Hatton did.

I think you're somewhat missing the point, it isn't the fact that Hatton fight's rough, it's the fact that the fight was officiated (or not) so heavily in favour of the home town guy. I bet you whinged your arse off about the Ottke v Reid fight.

Yes he did. We're not idiots for you to come and tell us he didn't, we have eyes. Hatton's only reason of winning that fight is the illegal tactics he applied. Even when he was allowed to apply those tactics it was a close a fight, go figure.

  13. See my above post regarding Hopkins v Calzhage..... he was given every chance by Cortez without so much as a warning

Its because Tszyu is a Warrior with Mongolian blood in his veins , he won't make excuses no matter what..... unlike some other boxers after losses ( Ricky Hatton )

I can't even stand to watch that fight again. I said everything you just said after watching it once.
