    congrats on the run mate.

    Celtic.........wtf...........

Man i must have watched at 8th round close to 40 times it makes me feel more bitter every time i see it.

Sexton turning away from rogan, spitting out his gumshield, the ref stopping the fight everytime rogan went to work on sexton to give sexton time to recover.

I was talking to Kevin Johnson just there to congratulate him for his win at the weekend. If Sexton doesnt rematch Rogan the KingPin wants a piece of sexton!

i've only seen Tims fight twice and although hewon both I wasnt impressed. However, some of his fellow pros that I have spoken to rate him. IMO they would know better than a shitbag like meself! :D

Ellis is a strange fella - when he arrived on the scene he was the next big thing. But he has been canon fodder in his last few fights. He dropped over 60lbs in his last fight as well which I didnt know if thats a good or a bad thing tbh.

Tims has been fighting tomato cans only so far and Ellis seems to only lose against the "better" fighters so we will know a lot Tims after this one.

Good luck to him - he seems like a nice fella!

I feel much the same as yourself, and wont be happy until a rematch is made.I go to the fights on a regular basis with friends and various members of my family, and I have never experienced such outrage and disgust from these blokes. Yesterday and today they have been phoning and texting me to discuss the disgraceful antics of the ref, and so on.And these are not young hot headed youths I am talking about, they are mostly middle age men. I like them and most people there on Friday night am not asking for a rematch but demanding one.

I saw Matt Ellis on the Rogan-Sexton bill the other night and he was well beaten by Tony Bellew, he got stopped at the beginning of Round 4, but was very lucky to survive the 3rd. He was game enough and tried to mix it with Bellew but he just walked into punch after punch. If Tims is half-decent (I havent seen him myself) he should dispose of Ellis without too much trouble.

I agree Ellis will be an easy win for Timms but he still is a name boxer. The rest of the bill is up on Dolphil boxing and it doesnt make great reading i'm afraid.Mike sweeny is boxing the guy Colm Keane beat in his last contest,Keane in turn is fighting the guy Timms beat in his last outing,***an has no opponent as yet and Willy Casey is off the show by the look of it (any info why)
As said earlier gasman boxrec dolphil and hyland brothers are good sites for info as is boards.ie i also do business witha guy that spends alot of time on Dublin and he knows i'm into boxing so anything he hears he rings me to tell me thats why i always warn that what i get is third hand info at best.
