Well if we can't agree, we will only go in circles. All you can take away from this is: Hatton retires KT round 11 JMM wouldn't be fighting north of 140 if it wern't for the Floyd fight. Maywhether used illegal tactics against Hatton, but I say well done if the ref lets you. And Hattons win over Tszyu is a better single win over anything Floyd has done.
Let me add one more for you. "I'm from England" Good day. P.S. Mr. Boxing official, nutritionist and all around boxing guru. Mayweather wasn't going to be ranked P4P#1 for as long as he did with Hatton barely making #9 if his win over Tszyu is better than everything Mayweather did. **** going to the pub, it's pretty obvious you are back from there.
Lol at the guy that said JMM was not going to move up. JMM was/is chasing Pac and he will go wherever Pac goes no matter..lol. The guy is on a mission and that sole reason is why I think he is going to give May trouble.
I've been saying that since the night the fight took place, it was a ****s trick from Hatton. Tszyu like the classy operator he was/is, didn't even complain after the fight. Compare that to team Hatton after his 2 losses and you can see who the real fighter was in the ring that night. I have no hate for Hatton but he got away with murder in that fight and as an Englishman I was embarrassed by the events that took place in the ring that evening.
Now someone even mentions the most pathetic excuse of all time. Do you even realise that the hour they fought at was closer to one which Tszyu was actually accustomed to, from his fights in the u.s. atsch? This whole thread is one sloppy terd.
Last comment on this thread....Scar, we ain't all the same. Some of us know the rules and appreciate them so save the "go down the pub" comments for those that truly deserve them and don't ever generalise please, thanks. I'm an Englishman that was truly appalled with what Hatton got away with that night, and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone.
that's right. The fight was a total farce. At one point Tszyu put Hatton down with a body shot and the ref bent over and asked Wicky 'was it a knock down Ricky'?, and ended up adjudging a low blow.
Exactly. Before that fight Tszyu just sensationally defeated Sharmba Mitchell who was very good at his prime. Even Tszyu himself said the 35 yr old Tszyu was far better than the 25 yr old version. He was wiser and more disciplined. But what can we expect...like I have always said here in ESB, when a great fighter loses, he must be past his prime. Forget about how Hatton's style might have been a factor to Tszyu's performance. Tszyu was definitely was past his prime simply because he could not beat Hatton. :roll:atsch
