a cotto fight be huge and his style would suit pac more than mayweather. still dont think he will win but i would not count it out
No, because Cotto would hammer him and he wouldn't get anywhere near the exposure or the big money that he would get fighting Mayweather.

cotto may be too big for manny welter may be too much for many , i dont think he could beat berto ,mosley its no longer on his prime but always dangerous, williams forget it , clotey big and skilled it would be too much for pacman but he has prove us wrong before
Everyone wants to see Pac fight the Oscars and Cottos.... Fact is, if he keeps going up against these guys, he is going to get hurt. Especially in Cottos case... cotto has been in there with fast guys- Malignaggi, Zab, Collazo. He has been in there with some hard hitters- Margo, moseley. He punches through EVERYONES punches and has broken bones with his power. Pac started his career at 112. He was an amateur at a flat 100. Cotto is just too much. Asking Pac to fight the TOP bruisers 50 lbs up in weight is just too much . We'd all mourn the death of someone who could be an ATG in Pac instead of hailing him as the hero he should be remembered. Floyd is no KO artist- You wanna match speed to speed with someone thats one thing, but if you want to watch pac trade with someone who is heavy handed for a 160lber... your asking for a global boxing tragedy IMO
And when Cotto's challenge falls on Floyd's deaf ears then what? I don't blame Cotto for having interest in fighting Pac because if victorious, Floyd's hearing will miraculously return and he would probably answer Cotto's challenge.
Oddly enough, I think Cotto is a worse fight for Pac than Shane is. Cotto has a pretty solid defense and I think his masterful ring generalship is a HUGE problem for someone like Pac.
Collazo beat the crap out of Berto, but was cheated out of his win. If Pac fights Cotto it will be huge. Pac wants Void though.
