If Floyd beats Marquez, PAc has no choice but to fight Floyd, or be ridiculed by me.

I know that, try to tell that to these idiots who claim Floyd should move up to 154 to fight Williams as it's a better fight than Pacquiao. I know he offered him 7 and mentioned it but stuck with 8 to avoid certain idiotic puppets who will believe Arum when they agree with him getting their periods.

And I educated you on the Welterweight landscape too. The biggest name at the time was Margarito who was a nobody who has done nothing in a division he has been in all his career, Mayweather officially captured the #1 spot in 3 fights, enough said. Cotto was still considered green and a new WW, the only time they PUBLICLY announced him to be ready for Mayweather is IF he beats Mosley, that's the fight even Arum his self said is the final test that proves Cotto is ready for Mayweather. Who else?, Berto?, Collazo?, the only name you can mention is Williams and that's hardly "TOO MANY OPPONENTS". Even Williams his self admitted at the time that his target was Margarito which is why he fought his way to become Margarito's mandatory, put him in a do or die situation regarding his title and reputation.

 

Arum doesn't have the final say. The Roach does, and he knows it can only be Floyd vs Pac, for Pac that is. Floyd can get massive money in lots of fights. I guess you think it would be okay for fans to be deprived of the fight because Arum is a pile of bull **** then?

But it doesn't change the facts though. Manny was an underdog, he was moving up two full divisions, and a large percentage of people paid to know the sport viewed the fight as a carnival sideshow favoring Oscar. However easily hindsight and the performance might lead you to write off the fight as a cakewalk, it obviously wasn't.

It ended up looking that way because Pacquiao is who he is. Saying that this fight wasn't dangerous is a joke.

 

I do agree with this because he was still a kid and jumped straight to 122 because of the weight issues.

But there still is a natural size advantage at this point I'd say Pac is a 140lber just like Mayweather is a 140lber.

I think it was only perceived as dangerous because people got caught up on size, but skill always out-weighs size. Pac weighed 147 against Diaz and looked great so I didn't see him having any trouble handling the weight cause he was going to be virtually the same against ODLH, and not have to cut weight nearly as much.

 

Okay, I just don't like when some posters try and use it and basically use it as a free pass for Pac if he loses. When fighters are this skilled a small size difference does not mean much. He and Floyd are built different but Pac is freakishly strong physically.
