I personally think that Cotto is more "beatable" for Pacquiao but I also think a fight against him is a lot more dangerous as opposed to Mayweather.

yeah, if they agreed to fight at a catchweight of 143/144, they would still be fighting for cotto's title and pac could get his 7th on this one.

on topic, i disagree especially if floyd beats marquez decisively. it's not even the amount of titles that make pac's legacy now but instead are the names in his resume like barrera, morales, marquez, delahoya and hatton. beating the undefeated floyd who is the second best fighter of this decade and the former p4p king would be much better for pac's legacy than having a 7th title over miguel cotto.

On paper I would agree. He's a six division champ, tied with Oscar, but will stand alone in history at 7 divisions. However, beating Floyd will be a great way to end his career as well. Either way I don't see him beating Cotto and there is a big chance he might not beat Mayweather. Either way, he's a great man if he takes on either one, definately legendary.

then i guess floyd is still the man since he has 6 titles....i mean ANYONE who actually believes that COTTO is a better legacy fight than FLOYD is either a hater or ****ing clueless....he may win a title but PBF is still the man in boxing and has never been beat

best for Pac's legacy is to take Shane Mosley's title at 147. Mosley is #1 at WW anyways AND a legend

and he is not as good, young or as popular as PBF...although again that would be a great win for pac...not as good as mayweather

Everyone says mayweather is Trying to avoid Pacman

......I Think its the other way round ?????

Rumour is Pac wants to retire next fight Nov/Dec
he would have more chance of beating cotto than floyd/shane
and he is not motivated by money?
He could go out a hero by beating a water drained cotto...."maybe"

The Flip Side of The Coin!!!!!!!!!!!

    Mayweather IS Motivated by MONEY:deal
floyd will risk his reputation against pac as its the big money fight
and he can retire again beating the p4p!!!!!!!!!

Floyd has ducked shane/cotto for years
    He has only comeback for

    JMM
    PAC
    OSCAR ...........RETIRE:deal

If I understand right in the your post that I quoted, you are referring to Cotto's title at l47 which I agreed. For Pac to acquire another title, it should be at l47. Is Shane a champ at l47? If he is, then Pac should fight him at l47 not at a catchweight.

If Pac fights Shane or Cotto at a catchweight, WW title is not at stake. Nothing for him as legacy in history. But may be good for greatness as a fighter.

If you want to fight for a welterweight title then you should at least fight a welterweight. I just love the way that Pac fans want welterweight to kill themselve to make a catchweight to fight for THIER titles. Its all bull****, if the man wants to fight cotto for the belt then he sould fight were cotto fights, its that simple.

yea i'd rather see Mosley vs Pac at 147 than at a catchweight.

Mayweather - Pacquiao is the best fight that can be made in boxing, period.
