Floyd may have the abilities.. but he has some catching up to do with his legacy if he wants to pull ahead.

Shouldn't it be from Midnight 31 Jan 1999 to Midnight 31 Jan 2009?

Officially the new decade starts at midnight on the 31 Jan.

Take a look back at the annual calendar a couple thousand years ago.

    5 B.C... 4 B.C... 3 B.C... 2 B.C... 1 B.C... 1 A.D... 2 A.D... 3 A.D... etc.

    There was no "year zero."

So this decade started 2001, and ends December 2010.

So its a debate on when a decade commences and ends, and not on pac or pbf being the fighter of the decade lols

maybe because if PBF vs PAC does happen, it will probably be on 2010 and that fight might seriously test if Pac is the fighter of the decade.

Whatever the outcome though, I'd still say Pac, lol.

pbf has a chance. if he beats jmm, pac and 1 top welter (cotto or mosley), then he has a case

decade ends in 2009. I always make it a point. Try google to convince yourself, or better:

For other senses of this word, see decade (disambiguation).
A decade is a period of ten years. The word is derived from the late Latin decas, from Greek decas, from deca. The other words for spans of years also come from Latin: lustrum (5 years), century (100 years), millennium (1000 years). The term usually refers to a period of ten years starting at a multiple of ten. For example, "the 1950s" refers to 1950 through to 1959 (inclusive). In English, "decade" can also be used to specify any period of ten years. For example, "During his last decade, Mozart explored chromatic harmony to a degree rare at the time".

I'm sure PBF will just happy to be remembered as the better fighter, after he defeats Pac.
