Wow, Mosley to take 20%, going down to 143, fight when and where PacMan wants? The man is a LEGEND!

With that said, Mosley hasn't gone below 147 for 10 YEARS, and the last time his boss drop some weight, he became seriously drained, I don't know why Shane wants to risk that. I see him getting down to 145 without serious problems, but 143? :think

This is the first time I'm rooting for this one because at full 147, PacMan would be at an unfair weight disadvantage (fight night). At 143-144, it'd a guarantee that Shane wouldn't go up to the 160s overnight.

BRING IT ON FOR LATE SUMMER/SEPTEMBER, WINNER VS. FLOYD/JMM!

I hope it happens at 147lbs so that the WBA belt is on the line. It better be.

143 is still welterweight, therefore the title would be on the line.

yup. fighting and beating either cotto or shane at a catchweight would still get pac his 7th title.

I just read that mosley don't agree with roach proposal on doing the fight at a catch weight of 142.

i think it's too early. pac will not usually make a decision til he goes back to the sates after winning. i dont think this is cast in stone. anyway, if it happens, i think roach will not go higher than 143. a very good idea on their part

I hope this happens - Mosely will end Pac's run of form.

If he took Mosely, Cotto AND Mayweather his stock would go up tenfold.

If this happens - Christmas comes early this year! Mosley/Pacquiao will be the fight everyone thought Hatton/Pacquiao would be.

I don't like this matchup for Manny. I like both of these guys (Pac moreso), but I think Mosley is the ONE guy 147 and below who should account for Manny.

This guy is still very fast, and his power is huge! The size difference is pretty big too. If the fight is at 145 or more, I can see Shane making weight and winning the fight. Any lower and it could be the DLH fight all over again!

Definitely a legacy defining fight for both fighters!
