Sorry to come on a bit late guys as I was in the USA going about business. First of all big congrtaulations to Morrisson for taking on the fight as the winner will hold both the British and Commonwealth title. Morrisson is and has always been a game lad. Whilst many domestically have ducked Ajose we have always known that Morrison did not fall into this category. the thing I love about Morrisson is that he always comes to fight. We look forward to a great contest which we look forward to winning in style and Ajose will demonstrate once again his credentials for world honours.
Dunky great to have you back on the posts. I was absolutely delighted to see that you are back. Finally Ajose versus Baz is going to happen. We are preparing for Baz at his best like the version that took the British title of Lenny Daws. I don't know if Baz is the hardest hitter Ajose has faced especially as we have had to take some catchweight contests against naturally bigger Welterweights and Light Middleweights over the years however I do know that Ajose can take a shot and is durable. Put it this way we rate Morrisson.
Ajose can beat Floyd, Pavlik (if Pavlik can get down to 147 that is) and Pac (quite easily he would do to Pac what Pac did to Hatton) so I can't see how he loses to Tommy Morrison, who was chinny at HW :rofl
I think it's time for Ajose to prove he is as good as some have been suggesting. I don't care if his manager posts on here or not and am not frightened to say that if he is as talented as has been suggested then he is the worse managed boxer in the World after Jorge Linares. He should have been taken to America to fight on a few ESPN cards or even untelevised, and built up a reputation and developed as a fighter. The fact is that we are talking about a 29 year old who spent the last 5 years calling out Ricky Hatton or Junior Witter and did nothing that would force them to even look at him nevermind step into a ring with him. Praise, however, must go to the promoting skills of Frank Maloney, though please correct me if that isn't his promoter, for getting someone with absolutely no fan base or proven ability to such a high WBC rating.
Thanks Olu:good Olusegun impressed me greatly in his last fight, fighting a dangerous opponent & poor Haywood, it was obvious the guy just wanted out of there in the end, you could tell by his facial expressions. That fight proved to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that Olusegun is on a different level, & thats why I say that Morrison has taken on a mammoth task. You know Olu that I have a soft spot for my fellow jocks, but I have to be honest here. I know my boxing, & I know that Olusegun is the real deal. In order for Morrison to pull of the upset, hes going to have to pull off a Daws performance all over again, & even more IMO. Its THAT tough. & in case anyone thinks Im just being nice cos Olu is an old friend here, get a hold of Oluseguns last fight, & then you will see why I think this is a big big ask for the likeable Motherwell man who posts here sometimes. Its became fashionable here in recent times to diss Olusegun just cos Olu backs his boy to the end, like certain posters here mocking him for no apparent reason. ****in morons that they are, with daft Boy George pics etc, instead of having some proper boxing debate with the man, who incidentally would wipe the floor with them if they had the balls to enter some proper debate. Damn, I love this place, but when I see character assasinations going on without the instigators being able to back up their big boy mentality with good boxing debate? Its why guys like me need to stay here, to maintain the integrity.
