You're right. Cotto is fighting a big welterweight, who throws creative combination, and will be tiptop physically and mentally because this is the biggest fight of his career. Cotto is going to have to stay focus amidst all the Pac and Uncle/Ex-trainer situations.

Who is training Cotto now btw?

    Yep.

Looking past this one is dumb. It's pretty close to 50.50.

If Cotto can overcome Clottey, I'll be the biggest achievement of his career. Too many distractions outside of the ring. Fight vs. Evangelista, no quality trainer all of the sudden, super tough and physically very strong opponent, and Mob Arum, knowing Miguel will leave him shorty, wants to cash out on him, planning a Pac-Cotto fight.

Why I have the feeling that Mob Arum isn't going to root for Cotto from now on? :think

if cotto manages to TKO/KO clottey i would be shocked and cotto would have sent a real message across the WW division.

But i don't think it would happen. Cotto wins by UD.

Honestly, I am praying for Cotto in this one. He definitely has what it takes to beat Clottey. But the camp has been a short one and the problems with his team have been just too much. Clottey knows this is his chance.

Clottey will be in the best shape of his life this fight. He knows this is probably his one opportunity to fulfill his lifelong dream.

Cotto would be well advised to do the same. He can absolutely not afford to let these outside issues become a distraction to him during his training. A motivated Clottey would give any version of Cotto a tough uphill battle. A distracted Cotto has no chance in my opinion.
