Roach: Cotto @ 140 & Mosley @ 142 or no fights "I have to protect my fighter"

Over at scene of boxing, theres talks about Roach indicating that this is the only way he would make these two fights. States he has to protect his fighters and its fair since Pacman is fighting outside his normal weights.

What do you think?

I say, Cotto stays put at 147 and Mosley as well. Mosley told him, he couldnt make 142...

If these are his terms that there is no way they can call him a P4P fighter... He is cherry picking worse than Mayweather in my view

 

It's not that. It's the fact that as a top trainer, you'd think he'd have enough knowledge of the game to know that there's no way in hell Mosley is making 142 or Cotto 140. Or maybe it's a ploy so he can say 'Cotto & Mosley ducked Pacquiao'

Maybe Pac fought there and didn't feel comfortable - that's fair enough.

 

That they (Pac/Roach) knew all along that Oscar would be a walk in the park which is why they took that fight. And now he comes with that ****. Anyways Cotto should say **** You and let Pac fight PBF....

I think Roach has his mind focused only on the winner of JMM-PBF.

No way in hell Mosley can make 142 much less Cotto at 140. They will look like something straight out of a concentration camp.

 

IMO, Roach is making Pacquaio look bad.
(He should just STFU & let his fighter do what he does best, FIGHT!)

Stop mentioning fighters names & weight if you have no intentions.

Roach is playing it smart. Pac is the big payday right now, and he stands a much better chance if both of those guys came down in weight to fight him. It would kill Mosley to come down that far and Cotto's punch resistance would drop to nil at 140.
