Not to sound insensitive, but because he's a fighter; that's what he does. It's his chosen profession. It's not like he's gotten any huge paydays and has money stashed away somewhere, or has a promising career in international banking or medicine sitting on the back burner. He should continue fighting because it's what he's best at. Not to mention he's got the physical tools to be a good fighter; he's strong, has reasonably fast hands, decent reflexes, and plenty of heart. If he works on his skills, he might still make something of himself. I doubt it happens (it rarely does with fighters like him), but he's still physically capable. He can still make a reasonably good living in this sport; much better than he can probably make elsewhere. If everyone who "took punches for a pittance to please people" retired, it would be a sport full of champions and legit contenders. No journeymen, no gatekeepers, no clubfighters, no bums. How would that work out, logistically speaking? It wouldn't.
A gatekeeper on Friday Night Fights!:yep If you're going to talk **** at least be able to back it up...He's going to be remembered as a loud mouth who got beat in all of his big fights!:-(
He should fight JT or pascal, I think a fight with froch would be interesting because it would be two guys with absolutley bad lateral movement and both with a bit of power bit froch could be a sitting duck and it would be good to see how good that chin is because he is solid there as is Edison's punch
i didnt believe the rumors either until somone on here got his photo taken with him....:bloodmiranda was massive. 210lbs+ EASY. got to remember he is a hard worker but not a learner. when he was a starving skinny child in columbia he made wieght easy ofcourse. then as soon as he trained in PR. bang he gained weight and bulked up. i prefer he move up to crusier if he is growing. but still blowing up that much is pointless. no reason at all. your a proffesional athelete, it's your job to be in shape...make weight.
What's next? How about he knocks another scrub through the ropes on Friday Night Fights, gets another fight for number one contender - brags that he has no respect for his opponent, looks great in training, all the humanoids buy the BS he is selling thinking Miranda can knock out a mountain, then go on to get schooled or KO'd again. Afterwards everyone will downplay the fight and say he was a washed-up easy win no-hoper that has no business in the ring. And then it starts all over again.
