I agree with this. Either way, if PAc just wanted a title in a 7th weight class he could probably move up and beat Berto pretty handily at 147. I don't think that's the objective (just the title)

 

I guess it depends on how much they want a paycheck. I dont think its worth it to either Cotto or Mosley. They should just make fights with the likes of:

Williams
Kirkland
Martinez
Mora
Urango/Berto winner

The thing about p4p is this if you were pound for pound and then you retired that stattus should be gone so the current guy that is still fighting get that recognition and if you decide to come back you will have to work your way back for that claim, because it isn't fair for the newly crown p4p to lose his claim just because the former p4p decided to come back.

 

If pacman is really the p4p best he would face fighters at their weight class instead of trying to get all the advantages and look better then he really is!

This is getting out of hand. If anyone wants to fight Pac at lt. Welter, just come in under 140. If Pac wants to fight for any Welter title then he should just come in at whatever weight he wants(below 147) and let the other fighter do the same!

Thats excatly what he did to Delahoya... He knew it would kill Delahoya to make 147 just like he know it would kill Mosely or Cotto to drop that low.. He wants to have and advantage on fighters and make them drain themselves to fight Manny.. Too bad that won't work agaisnt Mayweather because he can get down to 143...
