Joe Frazier is about a big of a grudge holder and sour puss as you are. I think you would be better off wathing MMA where guys just dont use their defense and lack boxing ability. Frankly, you cant appreciate fighters fighting within their abilities and in Wlad's case he is not only fighting within his ability he has seemingly perfected avoiding his weaknesses and making his strengths even more apparent. While doing this he has been knocking people out, all that while still being 6'6' 6'7 and weighing 250 lbs. A guy that size cant throw 60 punches a round every round for 12 rounds. I dont understand why you cant appreciate a fighter utilizing their strengths (reach and power and height) and avoiding their weakness and still ruling a division.

Hell yes. Liakhovich has serious balls and it was an enjoyable fight.

Wladimir was exciting as Hell coming up, now he's more cautious, and watching him dominate guys with just the jab is kind of tedious, I guess, but no he's not boring. The Ibragimov fight was a real ****ing sleeper, though.

You need one more Poll option:

3). Is Wladimir Klitchko as boring as Lennox Lewis was?

Because they have the same exact styles. Manny has only one mold for tall heavyweight fighters and that's the one. Wlad has had pretty much as many spectacular KO's and boring 12-rounders as Lewis did against opposition when he was on top of the division. However, the Lewis fans will never come straight out and say this. :verysad

As a huge Wlad hater, this is a tough question for me. Wlad definitely gets my blood pumping before a fight like no other fighter in boxing today, only Mike Tyson had the effect on me some years ago. The main reason I love watching Wlad fight, is for the chance he might get his glass chin tapped again like a keg full of Miller Lite. As far as his fighting style goes, it's not what it used to before Emanuel Steward got ahold of him in early 04. Steward taught him how to guard his achilles heel quite well, which everyone knows is his chin. As well as pace himself in case the fight goes into deep waters.

I dont think Wlad is a boring fighter, just not nearly as exciting as before. I dont really blame Wlad, he's winning in the end and thats all that matters. It would be like telling shaq to stay on the outside and take the 3 when you get the opertunity, this would not be an effective game plan. Just like it wouldn't be a good idea to tell Wlad to mix it up with his oppenent on the inside, instead of clinching.

his demeanor screams MR ROGERS, his style is boring, he is like the foreign exchange student in high school with his phrases (ie. pizza face)...**** yeah he is boring, and not to mention quasi-gay, does he really believe his poses in pictures makes him look dominant?

No it doesn't, it has to do with the fact that BOTH fighters were seen as KO artists and exciting fighters until EMANUEL STEWARD got a hold of them!

Once Steward gets a heavyweight fighter he molds them into cautious, mythodical fighters that make people on internet forums come up with polls like "Is Lennox Lewis Boring?" Because that's exactly what was happening here years ago after Steward adopted Lewis. It's all the same - only the names have changed.

If you really want to express your disappointment with Wladimir's style or any other complaint about how he's been not to your liking as a boxing fan, do your self a favor and either write or send an e-mail to be forwarded to Manny Steward @ the kronkgym.com website or the mailing address for Kronk. (I will not post the info as it may be a bannable offense). Trust me, you will not be the only boxing fan who has done this.

Lewis never ever had a bore-fest like the Sultan fight. The only one I can think of that was remotely like that was the Tua fight and Tua was a hell of a lot more dangerous than Sultan.

Would you see WALDO stand toe to toe with VITLAY for 6 rounds in a slug-fest? If they weren't brothers I mean? I doubt it, WALDO doesn't do slug-fests, he does bore-fests.

Sorry man, I just have a thing against Manny Steward turning big strong heavyweights with high KO percentages into so-called "boring" champions. It's been eating away at me for years. And for the most part I agree also. Please pay me no mind.

PS: I myself wrote a nice letter to Manny @ the Kronk mailing address explaining why as hard core or casual boxing fans a lot of people aren't impressed with the slow cautious (boring) style he teaches his fighters to utilize in the heavyweight division and of course he never returned a reply. I'm sure he called me a cuss word and wiped his ass with it.
