Holyfield I was far from exciting but not in the same league as Ibragimov/Wladimir.That was bordering on a disgrace

I've seen all Lewis's fights and I never saw anything that resembled the pile of **** that was the Sultan fight.

I do agree about Steward though, he does seem to get big guys and give them a safety-first approach. Maybe he still has Hearns/Hagler flashbacks from time to time :D

You make a good point about Lewis getting off the floor to win, never thought of it like that before.:good

I think it was a KD as well as Vitali vs. Sanders.

I don't blame Lewis for that fight being boring, Akinwande had no interest in engaging, just like Sultan against Wlad. Lennox could've gone wild winging haymakers to try and get Hugging Henry out but he didn't, he fought smart and didn't leave himself open for a lucky punch, just as Wlad did.

Damn, can you guys imagine how much **** people are going to talk about Wlad if he takes Haye the distance and wins a decision? :patsch

I'm sure nobody thinks that's going to happen but for all you watching just be prepared for a cautious game plan and a long...long night. :yep

Maybe I'm in the minority but I thought both the Lewis-Holyfield fights were good fights, I rewatched both of them a few times which is more than I can say for WALDO/Sultan, when I didn't bother watching all of it the first time, it was coma-inducing stuff.

The Peter fight wasn't boring, that fight had so much drama it wasn't that bad.

Brock fight wasn't boring either, it was a nice tactical fight where Wladimir's power proved to be too much for Brock.

Both Thompson and Rahman fights weren't exciting so I'll agree here.

Still can't compare ANY of those fights with Lyakovich/Briggs, that fight was far too terrible and can be compared with Ibragimov/Wladimir, no way does it compare with the rest you mentioned.

I've just checked, it was on the same date as the Lewis-Rahman rematch so I assume it was on the undercard, it was at the Mandalay Bay.

I think Etienne V Clay-Bey was on a Lewis undercard too, that was another good fight :good

I agree with everything aside from the Lyakhovich/Briggs vs. Iggy/Wlad. At least Briggs got the stunning knockout in the 12th round, by knocking Sergei through the ropes in the last 10 seconds of the fight. There was absolutely no drama in the Wlad/Iggy fight.

Just make sure you re-iterate that point when Zakman and that ugly ****ing peanut headed **** Spadafora spout their **** about Lewis not getting up off the floor to win. As I remember it Akinwande caught Lewis with a shot and Lewis went down but the referee was so ****ing sick of Akinwandes antics by then he assumed he'd wrestled him to the floor, he didn't. Same with VITLAY V Sanders, the huggers all say it was a trip but I've watched that numerous times and no way in hell did their feet get caught up, VITLAY was on ***** st and went down from a flurry - he got up to win, much kudos for that but he isn't the iron-chinned beast many would have you believe.

By the way mate, I'm off the curry permanently now, had a very bad experience last week concerning a cheap Indian take-away and only 4 cubicles in the toilets at work - I blocked 3 of them and puked all over the other one :shock::shock:

I used boxrec mate.....I had a memory of it but wasn't sure. I think Etienne V Clay-Bey was at the Mandalay too so I think it might have been on the Lewis-Holy undercard (first fight)
