Not to take it completely off topic (although that's exactly what's going to hapen), but Nigerian Nightmare always sounded like a perverse sex act to me- kind of like a Dirty Sanchez, Hot Karl, Puerto Rican Fog Bank, Rusty Trombone. or Cajun Hot Stick.

Dude have you even watched him fight?
His constant fluid combinations used behind a superb jab tangled with a superior conditioning and the footwork of a belly dancer.

Peter is a hopeless case. When you can't come 100% for every fight then you don't belong there, this is his JOB and he can't commit to it like he's supposed to.

Much of the blame can be direct toward Peter's manager.

I couldn't agree more. Ever since he discovered the ability to pick up groupies, he just hasn't paid Peter's career the attention he should.

I think he loves the attention and spotlight life like most fighters who get a taste of fame do............, and I think he'll continue to fight, and do what he can, cause no way can he make money doing anything else that he can at boxing.......even on the ESPN level.

Sam Peter will be back in action before years end. I thought his team picked a terrible oppenent for him on the comeback trail, in Eddie Chambers. They should be trying to match Peter up with big bangers, who dont have the best chin in the world. If I was Peter's team, I would gun for guys like Briggs and Arreola. I think the boxing fans would love to a see a Brewster/Peter fight, a fight that should of happend 3 or 4 years ago.

:patschNo. He's nowhere near as talented as Wladimir, for one. I liked him, thought he was scary, but I'm not much of a judge of these things either and I just saw a couple fights. Not much in the way of skills.

If they matched him with Solis, they could set up an Arctic Coast kind of backdrop and pretend it's 2 walruses (walri?) sparring over some mollusks. :happy
