His span of fighting Barerra, Marquez, and Morales was very impressive. Those were the three top dogs in the division and Manny pretty much took on them one after the other while moving up in weight. I thought that was very impressive. Also his span of fighting Marquez, Hoya, and Hatton was also pretty impressive. Those were high risk fights that he pretty much took on one after the other also. Manny Pacquiao is turely a great that you can't call a duck.

what i'm impressed with the most is that he has fought in 4 different weight divisions in his last 4 fights.

You are right, but he sure didn't pick no strawberry or cherry though. They were more like pear and banana .

I think you are right, he should have fought Valero, Guzman, and Soto instead of Barerra, Marquez, and Morales. Life is like a box of chocalate, you never know what you're going to get. Ledwaba found out the hard way.

marquez made his ducking not seem so bad as he lost to manny twice and then KO'd the 2 best lightwieghts.

Marquez is such a great fighter, I don't know why he wasn't taking on all the good fight before the first Pac. I always told myself that if Marquez would have been doing what he was doing right now, he would have been making millions a long time ago.

Marquez had terrible management earlier in his career.

it shows that weight divisions are overrated.

Weight divisions are not overrated. Not a lot of fighters can do what Pac has done, if anything it shows how underrated Pac was during that time.

He fought them when they are not in absolute prime (except marquez), regardless they are the top dogs in their weight divisions (except dlh and diaz) when manny fought them. Call it destiny, call it luck, call it cherry picking or handpicking, fact remains he fought the proven ones on those divisions and handed them some of their worst beatings in the ring.
