Catchweights are stupid. Manny Pac should fight a fighter at 147 or 140. I bet Morales would have a fighting chance if he were able to fight at 132 or 133.

Shane can't drop below 147 and either can Cotto. It's all talk and nothing more.

Hopefully the winner of Cotto/Clottey will fight Shane.

Yup . . . therefore if they can't make the lower weight. There shoulb be no fight.

The welters should fight welters. :deal

True. Whoever comes out on top between Mosley vs Cotto/Clottey winner would be the most logical opponent of a Pac/Mayweather winner, but it should be 147 or nothing. If not the top WW after these fights should fight Paul Williams. Catch-weights just get in the way of negotiations anyway. There's already enough different divisions to not need them.

Do you have a reason why he should agree to their terms? Shouldn't it be the other way around? He's not the one calling Mosely out. :blood

kirkland is out of the picture, berto wont fight him
driz wont fight in the US. chavez jr is too raw

:good Well stated. I'm of Mexican descent and every time the subject of Manny arises with my Filipino friends, some of them tell me how lucky he got vs. Oscar and Marquez, but I just interrupt them and tell them hell no, the little guy is just great for boxing and remind them Oscar was the favorite. I do tell them I do think JMM won both times, but really the fights were close and could of gone either ways. When they're close fights, there's always going to be subject to argument, but the way he just blasted right through 2 of Floyd's former opponents and did it much more convincingly than Floyd, how can someone not give Manny the same praise Floyd is getting? It's like if Floyd invented the wheel, then Manny comes along and invented the automobile. Manny easily deserves the same credibility if not more than Floyd.

    mosley in 6rds
    too fast "still"
hits hard! stopped the granite chin margo who would let pac tee off all day with a smile!
but age? as we all know manny is the lay in wait fighter as in "wait till they are old".
i think shane has enough now but by the time pac would want the fight it would be more competitive.

Paul Williams would fight Shane in a heartbeat, but it's better for Shane at this point in his career to fight Cotto if Cotto wins.

How could you not be dog? He has proved naysayers like you wrong time and time again. How many threads have been made like this about Pac only to be bumped by *******s after he not only wins but destroys his opponents. People not only doubted him but gave him no chance against Ledwaba, Barrera, Morales, DLH, Hatton and he not just beat them but destroyed them.

Just the pac fanatics (like Harrison) and the haters (like that Jeff M)...both are opposite sides of the same fanboy coin... thank god real analysts, writers, or historians don't come off like stupid children like those on this board...

Pac will be judged correctly by those who matter...not message board arm chair QB's...
