I've seen some posters here at ESB claiming they dont hate a particular boxer, that in fact they do admire or like him as a fighter but when you look at MOST of their posts it tells you otherwise. Really now, why cant they just admit that they dont like a boxer (hating and not liking are different imo) there's nothing wrong with that really.
Because they are embarassed by their hate, they are ashamed, because it isn't based on any logic, but usually a clear, bright as day racism. So it became en vogue a few years ago to state, "I am a big fan of xxxx but I must say....." not that everyone who starts a post that way is a racist, but some definitely try and hide it that way.
