How much does it cost you to train weekly? It cost me about $50 a week, its $10 everytime i train, so depends how many times a week i train. Our gym relocated and we have all new equipment, all top of the range so i guess we are helping pay off the new equipment.
Nothing. All I do is roadrunning these days..... sometimes a few situps at home. Used to pay £30 a month to use the gym, but spent most of the time running in any case.
I pay 20 euro's a month, and I can train 5 times a week for it officially so that's one euro per training. I can train there more often because I can borrow the key.
100bucks a month or so. 4 days a week. Friend of mine has a key so I could make it in more if I wanted to.
Robert Anasi wrote a book called The Gloves, about his experience with boxing training in New York. Apparently he got involved with some crazy-ass from Puerto Rico who would charge people any amount he dreamed up off the top of his head! It was another one of those boxing clubs where everybody was taught the same style. Good place to avoid.
5 $ a time to do weightlifting, but I only do that twice a week. Since I'm self training myself for boxing and getting help on here, I just buy all my equipment for that training and my home training, be it at home, the park, etc... is free because it's just me. I'm hoping to get my friend/roommate to do mits/pads for me when college starts back, I told him I'd pay him money to do that, i'll have free access to weights at that time because of my college's fitness center.
what do you mean by taught the same style. I thought it was up to the fighter to work his style out. Everyone at my gym is taught the same basics, the same defence, the same offencive moves and its up to the fighter to adjust them to his own style. Or am i wrong here, do you think its better to train to your own style as an amatuer.
£22 a month for my normal gym - swimming wieghts etc £3 x twice a week and £3.50 x once a week for boxing and thai boxing
