After he beats JMM, he'll beat Pacquiao.

Then he'll retire. But still claim to be the best ever.

I think he ****ed up after beating Hatton. He should of fought Cotto and Margarito then retired.

he blew any chance he had by ducking Margarito, Cotto, Casamayor, Mosley. Just way too many dodges on his resume. The all time greats like Leonard, Robinson, Ali, Lewis, have no blatant ducks on their records.

and the shameful and embarrassing way he dodged Margarito, the 12 different excuses, then the crying at the Baldomir press conference, not even close to ATG status. Good fighter but a lot of fraudulence behind the charade.

We never saw him fight an opponent he dind't want to fight. Everyone has been handpicked, including Hatton and Oscar.

Yeah, that would put him in the mix for the very top spots.

LMAO your a fool Robinson and Leonard ducked many many top fighters, including 2 of the best ever in Burley and McCallum

Mayweather has offered fights to Mosley and Margarito but been turned down. Casamoyar didnt coem to prominance until Mayweather left 130

LOL, Mayweather will never be appreciated until probably 20yrs after he retires. Right now, no one will ever give him aby credit, and they will always say "well in order to be the best he has to beat...." Cotto, wanted no part of Mayweather at 140 after he thrashed Gatti. Mosley turned down a fight too. Maragrito sucks, plus anybody would take $25mill to fight DLH over $8mill to fight Margarito. Dude has beat some of the best.

Cotto and Arum tried to make the fight last year, a battle of unbeatens, but phloyd dodged it, saying he won't do busniess with Arum ever again. Mosley was mediocre back then, now he's eating his Wheaties or something, he's prime time after KOing Margarito, but phloyd priced himself out demanding $20 million guarnateed.

he demanded $20 million gauranteed for lil Marquez right?

Mayweather will defeat Pacquiao but that will not even come close to securing number one all time. He would have to win about 50 more fights against top level opposition to be considered.

Arrum and Cotto never tried to make a fight with Mayweather EVER. Floyd tried to fight Mosley when Floyd was at 130 and November 2006, Mosley turned it down TWICE
