I nearly forgot about this, it was plugged at the Rogie fight, sounds interesting, I would like to read a good book about Irish prize fighters in the US in that period..... http://www.folkpark.com/whats_on/exhibitions/?article=1520

He has heard Dunne will be boxing in Dublin sometime during September, as various boxers from the gym have been told they will be on the bill. One of Scott Belshaw's trainers has told a good boxing buddy of mine that Scott fancies his chances against Fury, and that the big Lisburn man can't wait to knock the smirk of Fury's face. A substantial crowd from Ardoyne[ God's country:deal] and The Bone are travelling over today to London to support Darren Corbett in his attempt to win Prizefighter. And Steve Bunce favours the big man to win the tournament. Also Darren had great sparring sessions with Sam Sexton in preparation for this event.
i wasout in Cork on friday night and i was taklin to Mike Perez, what a sound fella asked him about Fury he said he'd knock him out in the 1st round. He's going in for surgery this week and hopes to be back in the ring soon after.
Yeah there is talk of that in today's Irish News. Brian Peters has a few options on the table and one of them could be a defence in Dublin in September. He said the dream would be to have a fight in Vegas with Vazquez. Also, Caballero the IBF champ is another potential option.
Corbett was out for about 4 years and only recently came back on the scene, apparently he was sparring with both Sexton and Rogan before their fight. Not sure what shape he is in, but you could say that about a few of the fighters on tonights bill....
Ive also got some news to relay from the horses mouth! Duddy is looking to be back in the ring in august. :deal great news that dunne is fighting in sept. probably against the bin man. I dont mind who he fights tbh..
I didnt want to pressure the boy too much he said in a casual convo! good news all the same. It will more than likely be in the states in my opinion.
darren sutherland is fighting the punchbag degale fought in his first fight.this is a joke.considering the quality of opposition maloney is giving him daz could have won 4-6 fights by now.hes 27 and he needs to get a move on
