That's no excuse. Anyone that knows anything about boxing realizes Cotto would be starched trying to make 142. It's a demand that the Pacquiao camp knows Cotto cannot meet.

That & the fact that Cotto is a better, more versatile version of Ricky Hatton!
Cotto can box, he can bang. He's faster, hits harder & his signature is also the left-hook to the body (though whose is harder is debatable!... Hatton's LHK2thebody was vicious!).

 

I honestly doubt that...he would fight him but I don't think at 147...that wouldn't be pretty for JMM fans..
