I love the fact that Oscar thought Manny moving 2 weights up (hes a genuine Light Middle) and he would be able to weigh in the same as manny and beat him.

Its almost as if Oscar was saying "this has got nothing to do with weight, im just a better skilled fighter" what an idiot.

Floyd's match I beleive is extrememly dangerous, how many fighters go in against a an al be it smaller fighter of Marquez' in their 1st fight back after 2 years out.

    No body.

Jones' record is impressive by today's standards but It would have been great if he had fought Benn, Eubank, Collins, Michalczewski, Rochigianni, McClellan, Jackson, Callzaghe (while prime), etc...

once again.. all the pre fight **** means nothing... roach knew the deal all along

because its harder as a fighter to win a fight going up.... for the sake of the example the toll oscars body took is way worse than what jmm's body is about to take

He would have faced Benn if Benn didnt get beat by Malinga...we all saw what Jones did to Malinga.

Collins was beaten by Reggie Johnson....who Jones beat.

Michalczewski would be the only fight I would say he possibly ducked..

but i never saw Dariuz making a an attempt to fight Jones, Jones beat the other champs in his division.

Jones was alos the best fighter in the world...why should he go to Germany?

Joe was also a nobody till 2005, when Jones lost.

Joe wouldnt have been a top 5 win pre 2005 for Jones.

Whoa back up! I never said that Jones ducked them. I have been defending him and said he did not want to travel and get ripped off like he did in the Olympics and like pernell got ripped off when he traveled.

However, Callzaghe was calling him out for many years

Both are flagrent acts of CP. But Mayweathers deed smell more foul simply because of his claims of all consuming greatness. Would a true Superhero pick on a smaller guy?

If Joe was genuinely wanting to fight Jones year ago as you claim, he would have gone to Light heavy ad faced Michelzewski himself or faced Tarver or another Light Heavy...to force a fight.

jones was UD light Heavy Champ...Joe was a WBO belt holder...if Joe called anyone out then no one gave ****..

he was only a credible fighter after 2005.

HBO only bought into JOE after Lacy.

Read Joes book...."Why would I want to fight Jones unless given the crown jules". who was going to offer crown Jules for at the time a very average regarded champion.

:patschYou do know Floyd had a career before he fought at 147 right??

Some of you guys kill me with this bull****...So I take it was Arum who cherry picked most of Floyd's career, I take it you forgot Floyd\Haymon only promoted the Baldimor, Oscar, and Hatton fight...So how in the hell does he cherry pick for six years given that Arum was his promoter before the Baldomire fight?

Nice way to own yourself with your lack of knowledge.:-(

I know for a fact that the was calling him out at least a year or two before the Ruiz fight and right after that I read another article where Joe was so impressed with Jones dismantling of ruiz that he said jokingly "Wow! maybe it is a good thing that he's been ducking me".
