Michalczewski would be the only fight I would say he possibly ducked.. but i never saw Dariuz making a an attempt to fight Jones, Jones beat the other champs in his division. Jones was alos the best fighter in the world...why should he go to Germany? Joe was also a nobody till 2005, when Jones lost. Joe wouldnt have been a top 5 win pre 2005 for Jones.

If Joe was genuinely wanting to fight Jones year ago as you claim, he would have gone to Light heavy ad faced Michelzewski himself or faced Tarver or another Light Heavy...to force a fight. jones was UD light Heavy Champ...Joe was a WBO belt holder...if Joe called anyone out then no one gave ****.. he was only a credible fighter after 2005. HBO only bought into JOE after Lacy. Read Joes book...."Why would I want to fight Jones unless given the crown jules". who was going to offer crown Jules for at the time a very average regarded champion.
