No what your saying is BS..P4P is P4P and if Manny is that then he should be held to the same standards as other P4P before him.

Anytime you're a top p4p boxer you have to be looked at and judged differently. The fans need to know how you got there and why you deserve to stay there.

There are so many top fighters in the world but only a handful ever get a shot to showcase those abilities on a huge scale so once you get there you need to perform to your abilities and expectations of fighting and beating the best in your respective weight class or make way for the new faces who deserve thelight.

What they are talking about is floyd saying this "When its all said and done, I want to be the greatest fighter ever, I want to be seen as greater then Robinson, greater then Ali"

Those were the comments of a very young very confident fighter, What they heard was "Im the greatest fighter ever, Im better then Robinson and Ali" Not what he said but when it comes floyd what they want to believe is better then what is fact.

OMM they actaully did. When fighting Judah they said why not fight the guy that beat Judah which was Baldomir who was the UNDISPUTED Welterweight champion. But once again your story is better then the truth.

It wasn't just that they wanted him to fight Baldomir cause alot of people wanted him to fight Marg.

The thing was why are you fighting a guy just coming off a loss when you're trying to lay claim to p4p1.

The bar is where it should be. He IS the P4P #1 (or P4P Champion Emeritus) so his bar is raised higher and understandably so.

Should he have the same bar as say, Ricardo Torres or Jermain Taylor?

When it comes to Torres and Taylor and fighters on that second line yes the bar should be set higher, but when it comes to first line fighters such as Hopkins, Mosley, Cotto, NO it shouldnt be, when it comes to other guys that are seen as guys that too are in the running for p4p it should be the same, and that isnt the case.

I personally don't know... I mean each guy is a human being right? Shouldn't they all be on the same standards?

I dont think so, they dont all have the talent. I coach a girls fastpitch softball team, and even thou all my girls are 10 years and under I know that all arent on the same level, so with that being said the expectations of my daughter is higher then some of the other girls because her talent and skill level is higher.
