You gotta fancy Francis but i put £10 of Mickey Steeds at 6-1 as Francis odds are now ****.

Many say Francis is in the right place on the draw but considering he is very injury prone you have to think, can he get through 3 fights without being injured?

cruiserweights should be more exciting in this format.
francis has a good chance, depends on early injury's -cuts etc
should be a couple of k/o's though, winner should be whoever can get their man out of the way early, and earn a good rest, providing they are all fit enough.
v.excited, please keep them on a tuesday, makes my mondays seem a little less taxing!.

    Francis stopped then.

Was it a legitimate K.O or a barrage or what???? Didn't see it, but I guess his career is over, can't make LHW and getting stopped by rudimentary compeition at Cruiser.

I knew McKenzie would do well! (Check my prediction and I have him losing to Francis in the final)

Dean Francis was very weird in the Keaton fight. He never got into his stride and the first knockdown took it all out of him. I'm glad for Keaton though, a real nice chap.

First thing I would be asking is what were the odds on a Keeton win over Francis...I hate to say it but it looked really easy for Dean to stay down

Yes it was a legit KO. Even though Keeton is very basic it looked like one of those quirks in styles where he just couldn't see a certain punch. He landed one right hand to the side of the head and put Francis on the deck. He looked okay but his legs were stiff. Then he got knocked down by the exact same punch again but this time he stayed on his knees for the 10 count. He didn't look in a bad way but presumably he was counting lights or he would have got up.

I didn't watch it, was it better than the other recent sorry efforts we have been given?

By the sounds of it, Francis needs to retire.

It was definitely one of the better ones for drama. Seemed to be knockdowns in nearly every fight and stoppages too. Complete underdogs coming through unexpectedly. They finally got it "right". I make that 2 out of however many that have been decent.

The Francis K/D was very suspect. The second knock-down didn't even seem like it landed flush ? Not at all convinced about that. Seemed like he was ok at 4 too so not sure why he then got onto his knees and just looked up.
I liked Keeton though seemed genuinely nice bloke wish he would have won :-(

They were both to the side of the head though. I think he was still feeling the effects of the first knockdown, which was flush, so it didn't take much to scramble his senses again.

Francis obviously lost all equilibrium, thats how it looked to me.

the MW one was good with Renda and Steve Ede. Even though Ede was robbed, but nevermind.

I think that you are being a bit generous. The first knockdown was high up on the side of his head and dropped Francis who got up straight away with seemingly no probs. The second KD appears to have been caused by no shot at all...Francis may have been scrambled by the first KD but he seemed to know where he was and was very composed indeed, he just didn't want to get up.

Didn't think the 'second one' landed at all. Francis should retire, thats how it looked to me :nut
