GTFO of a thread topic you know nothing about......its common knowleadge even by *******s who've followed Pac from the beggining, that Roach did not want Pac matched against JMM when they first fought.

I'm not going to go searching for Freddy Roach quotes from over 5 years past......if you have the time, you go searching for them......

.....but you notice that Patsys never answered my post directly, because he knows that I speak the truth.

......any Pac fan that was around and followed Pac to the time he won the title from MAB, knows that Roach did'nt like the idea of matching Pac right away with JMM.....

......and I'm quoting Roach at the time, "JMM is the best of the three Mexicans, he's better than MAB and Morales."

Roach made no bones that he did'nt want to match Pac with JMM so soon after winning the title from MAB......the words from Roach were that he wanted to milk Pac's sucess against MAB, and fight a rematch with MAB and then Morales, before taking on JMM who he considered the best of the three.

really? so was dlh the younger and bigger man in this stage? jmm is going up against someone who is younger and bigger. pac was going up against someone who was way bigger but older.

before pac, the only one crazy enough to do it was rjj when he went up against ruiz.

balls is not hindsight but more like envy. pac went up 2 weights to fight dlh, he was a trailblazer. in effect he was the first one in his generation to do it. pretty much in tune with his aggressive fighting style. jmm clearly followed suit.

so who has bigger balls, the first one who had the courage to do it, or the second one who saw the success of the pioneer follow in his steps. :patsch

Its been 5 years that Roach made the quotes.....I"m not about to waist my time searching, but if it means something to you, if you actually search it may be possible that some of the links to those quotes may still be up.

Hey Patsys, put your ******* buddies out of their misery and shout out the cold hard facts to Roach's comments before they even faced JMM, about JMM being the best of the three Mexicans.......

hey divac, why are you asking patsys to put the links up instead of yourself? you're the one making these statements. it is only but proper that you also provide the proof to back up your statements.

    Dude,

1)In the first place you are not a pac fan
2)You are delussional if you think that jmm has better accomplishments/resume than pac
    3) JMM was not even probably selected as fighter of the year
    4) JMM's greatest win is with Juan Diaz. Juan Diaz is not as invincible
as projected by some esb members. He did not even win over PAPA nate who is already 37/38
5)Casa. Casa which jmm BEAT is already 37 yrs old. If he beat the Casa who is in his 20's or early 30's it's a different story.

Casa BARELY PROVED HE IS BETTER than STA Cruz! So Casa which JMM beat is a fraction of his old self. Prime CASA would have demolished Sta Cruz inside 6 rounds but did it happen? No, coz CASA is alread over the hill even if he won (?!) over sta Cruz..

So what is the GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT of JMM which put him in the LIMELIGHT?!

His two fights with PAC! :lol:Too bad! He was given two chances but he both failed to win!:hat

i wouldnt call fighting mayweather a real ballsy move. sure its admirable but we're talking about mayweather, a defensive fighter! i would call fighting an offensive fighter like cotto or mosley at 147 a ballsy move. with these two you know you are going to be in a fight while with mayweather, we can expect small firefights here and there & a mostly stale and boring fight.

I'm not asking anyone to post links.......this got started when I made a statement that I knew Patsys already knew about........then some ******* comes in here demanding links from a quote thats 5 years old.......

.......what I'm doing now is giving a shout out to Patsys so that none of us have to go search for a 5 year old quote.....and to back up that I'm telling the truth.

I've got no reason to lie here......and for your own sanity, Roach being quoted that he considered even back right after Pac whipped on MAB for the first time, that JMM was the better fighter, does not in any way diminish Pac as a fighter or his accomplishment in beating the crap out of MAB!
