You gotta give it to him if he comes to Nottingham, even though he is probably getting paid decent cash as the pound is strong agaisnt the Canadian Dollar.

You also gotta respect Froch, hes gone to the US to fight Taylor. Both of these guys could be make very good money fighting winnable fights in there home towns for the next 2-3 years protecting there undefeated records.

This is what Boxings about. Problem is whoever wins will have to fight stupid mandatorys instead of getting a Kessler fight.

Well, it's not like the winner of Froch/Bute vs. Andrade is a bad fight.

Agree except for the stupid mandatories bit. If we don't have them then boxers can just sit in their backyards indefinitely fighting bums and avoiding their rightful challengers.

I agree the only problem is the organizations have to improve their ranking systems.. if the rankings were aligned with the actual talent level of fighters then it would ensure the best challengers get their title shots. I still don't understand how organizations can get away with not ranking a champion of another belt in the number one mandatory spot.

Hennessy and the BBC are not enough? Of course, it's not confirmed by Interbox, Bute's promoter.

Cool, i didnt know there was talk of this fight happening. Would be great, a unification fight, we dont see enough of those. Hats off the Froch again for looking for this.

The BBC article though doesn't say anything about Bute going to Nottingham, just about Froch going to Canada. Has there been something else since?

What will you say when the fight is confirmed? Will you make an apology?

If Bute is a fraud, it won't be a great victory if Froch wins. Imagine if Froch loses.

BTW, ask Zuniga if Bute is a fraud.

According to what I've been told this morning.

Interbox is indeed in negotiation for with Team Froch for a Unification bout. But they are also in talk with Team Andrade for a fight around the same time.

So I guess who ever Bute end up fighting. It should be a great fight. :D

Bédard said Saturday they were in negociation with both teams but that Froch was the more probable fight to be made. I guess we'll have to wait until Interbox speaks out in order to be sure of anything.

    butes a top fighter.

this would be an impressive scalp on froch's resume.
