Bute wants that fight and he and his team are so sure he will win that they did everything to get it fixed. It's in Nothingham but at 2am. That means Froch will have the jetlag without leaving home! interbox probably negociated other things, like the choice of referees. He will earn credibility and get used to fight outside of Montreal. When he will face Ward or Dirrell, there are big chances that it won't be home. I'm glad he takes the risk of travelling in UK. Froch just did the same thing in coming in USA.
By the way, Hennessy said on the BBC that the deal was 90% done.

The Nottingham Arena is tiny :/ I've been a couple times before to watch pro-wrestling and hockey. I would have thought he'd be able to fill one of the local football stadiums there easily, there is the City Ground and the County Ground both which I imagine would sell out pretty quickly...hell there is even Pride Park just up the road and that's used to big events, it's had Chilli Peppers, Rod Stewart there etc.

Dunno seems crazy not to have a "home coming" on a grand scale and capitalise on his new found popularity. I know I'll be trying to get tickets either way.

Nottingham Arena is tiny and it should be moved to a bigger venue like Birmingham NEC.
Football stadiums would not be used for a couple of reasons.

If it's in september, the footy season would be a month in, no club wants hundreds of people on the pitch at all during season time.

Again, if it's in september it's gonna be at 2am to suit the Canadan and American fans, it will be frezzing at 2am!

September 5th or 12th Apparently. Big props to both for taking this fight.

I also love the fact both fighters and Kessler completley ignore the WBO champ lol.
