After all Hattons talk of being too big at the weight for manny, and after watching juanma lopez sparring on utube (hes huge for super bantam) I was wondering who you think across all the weight divisions who is the biggest fighter at their weight (proportionately speaking of course) at world level?

    juanma?
bute and kessler are big for super mid
    pavlik obviously
    paul williams?

I think it could be Clottey. Against Coralles on fightnight he was at 170lbs.

    Myth.Big myth.
Yes he was 170 vs Corrales but you gotta remeber the fight was at 149 and Clottey weighed in with all his clothes on and all.Yes he was heavy but it's made to be a big thing.
He was 158 vs Gutierrez and 156 vs Judah.Clottey is nowhere near as big as people make him.

    The Definitive List:

Paul Williams (need more be said?)

Pacquiao anywhere from 122 to 135 (boy did he have the science of weight-cutting down!). His stature is deceptive. He's stronger than people ever gave him credit for & is 5'6 of lean muscle from head to toe!

JuanMa (could potentially move up through 126 & 130. And if he continues to impress and is the real deal we feel he is & gets some good specialist-trainers.. I'm sure he could do well at 135 & 140 after quite a few years below).

Cotto (at 140 especially.. but at 147 too... 160 fight night!)

Mosley (always been big at 147, despite being 5'8.. prettymuch same as Cotto who is 5'7 or 5'8 aswell).

Hopkins (when at 160... but like you gotta give credit to Pacquiao for his masterful weight-cutting.. you gotta give props to Hopkins for his discipline & living like a monk most of his professional life!)

    Pavlik

Arthur Abraham (he's only sticking around at 160 because he wants Pavlik! He's said for awhile, he's really a super.mw)

Jermain Taylor (was quite big for 160!)

Urango @ 140 (at 147 not so much)

    Berto (like Mosley & Cotto)

    Amir Khan -- Huge lightweight!

Oscar when he was at 130, 135 & 140 (even tho Gatti was at 147.. just check that size-difference. Both had more towards skinny, 'slight' frames... but damn, Oscar was HUGE! compared to Gatti who really had no business above 140!)

Prescott -- pretty damn big for a lightweight, roughly same size as Khan!

Vernon Forrest in a way (when he used to fight at 147... though like Hopkins, you can't make too much of it.. it was through sheer hard-work & discipline that he maintained such a low-weight for his height!)

    Donaire!

True. Big for a welterweight! Definitely....

but post-Wrapgate, while still suspended, you're not allowed to mention Margarito unless it's in relation to an old fight he was in... OR unless it's a joke about wraps!

Roy Jones at 158 lbs was large. Holyfield was a large 190 pound cruiserweight. Jake LaMotta was huge for 157 lbs. As far as today you guys have mentioned all the big ones.
