I'm interested to see how Rigondeauz's carrer goes, hopefully on the same route as Gamboa but looking better than Olandier Solis.

I knew you were going to bring Juanma into this conversation. You're just mad because Gamboa is getting more attention than your countryman. If you can't see Gamboa's HUGE talent, you're definately a hater. Gamboa and Juanma are both in my top 3 (with Pacman) and a fight between them would be my dream.... And I wouldn't be so sure about your boy Juanma on this one. It can easily go both ways. Like Juanma has been facing much tougher opposition.....

knock out a few cab drivers lol classic on the real man gamboa is not a star yet but for only having 15 fights the publicity he has gotten in a way he is, im not saying this because he has beaten the best but just for the buzz he got, star or not you gotta love the potential and dont worry in a year or so the fight with juanma will happen, why are boricuas so hateful towards gamboa is it maybe cuz juanma is not getting the same exposure or is it jus rivarly. i gotta be honest though there aint no hate runing in my veins , i enjoy both fighters yuri and juanma and i think both of them are great. i dont see a reason to hate on one or the other

he is fighting caballero in august so i wouldnt say he is going to be fighting bums, according to caballero's camp the fight with yuri had been in works for a long time but celestino turned it down because he wanted to fight juanma but juanma didnt want any part of it so i thought juanma had more balls than gamboa. I didnt make this up it was quoted on espn by dananimal rafael

i believe juanma has 2 or 3 years more of experience so of course he is going to have fought better fighters so if you really want to compare the two you have to freeze juanmas record right now let gamboa fight for another 2 years and then compare them and believe me if you do that gamboa would be light years away.

His chin isnt so much the trouble i hear this a lot on the internet and it makes me believe that must of the people that say this havent seen his knockdowns i think they just read it online and just keep spreading the word. if you look at must of his knockdowns they have been because when he is /was (he has made great improvements) on offense he is so aggresive and stands in a very ackward position out of balance which is the reason that when he has gotten hit he gets dropped but it seems like it doesnt affect him at all i seen all his knockdowns and the guy is up within 2 seconds of him geting knocked down. so it isnt so much his chin is his awkward position and his balance. but believe me he looks much better now

Exactly, I don't know why but everytime someone says Gamboa's name some paranoid JuanMa fan has to go and talk **** about him.

Rigondeaux is far far more polished than Gamboa..

But IMO Gamboa is more exciting, because he takes a lot
of risks - and is willing to lay it on the line.

Rigondeaux is as ready made as they come, could step in
against the best in his division after a tune up and probably
    near school them..

i noticed that, i think they just hate that gabmoa has gotten so popular so quickly, i mean for only having 15 fights the guy is everywhere. And i dont know why they are jealous of that, they should just appreciate it for what it is.

i do think rigo is going to be a great pro , i cant wait til friday i dont think the debut is going to be an amazing performance (just look at lara's and gamboa's) but if they keep him on the right path great things will happen. however luis de cubas exaggerates way too much
