Pac won't waste his last legacy defining fights to losers. The fact is, Pac has beaten him already once or twice depending on how one appreciates the 1st drawn fight where a judge made a scoring error. JMM is pressured to win this fight despite overwhelming odds against. The same is true w/ Floyd. Floyd has to make an impression by coming out with no less than a KO to fight Pac.

Arum's an idiot. So if Floyd beats Marquez by decision, Pac won't fight Floyd, won't fight Marquez, won't fight Cotto above 142, won't fight Mosley either. Who's he gonna fight?

Its like every time a fighter beats Oscar, they become like him.

Floyd doesn't have to do anything but win, and if PAc doesn't take the fight afterward, Floyd has options also. If Pac wants big money, he better fight Floyd if he beats Marquez. Otherwise, the big money fights are at 147.

    Don't speak too soon.

Whoever Pacquiao fights next, I'm sure it'll be a big challenge and a spectacle all fans want to see.

Manny talks of retirement, he'd want to go out against his best ever opponent.

I can see Marquez retiring after the beating he is gonna take from Mayweather.

EXACTLY. That's what Arum created, another "DLH" like person. Just like Arum helped Top Rank become a DLH only company in the 90's, he's doing it again by making TR Pacquaio only in this decade. Since he only cares about Pacquaio, other fighters are welcome to call "Pac Rank"'s bluff. One has already done it, now we'll see if others follow.

Fights at 140 & 147 are still firmly on the table... it's just that Roach/Arum &co. don't want Pacquiao fighting COTTO or MOSLEY @ 147!

And you can bet your ass they will try to goad Floyd into a 142-lb catch-weight... once Floyd Decisions Marquez.

For Pacquiao-Floyd's terms... other than the manner in which Floyd deals with Marquez, a lot hinges on how well JMM-PBF PPV does!

Personally, I hope the Cotto fight happens... and Cotto pulls off the upset.
Hence bringing Team Pacquiao back down to Earth.... & no longer quasi-indomitable colossuses in the negotiating room.. where the only option is to say "Take it or Leave it" when they start getting ridiculous wichu.

Arum just gave JMM more motivation. Juan was going to take it easy on him but now........ RIP Floyd.

I'm a huge Marquez fan. He's my favourite boxer, today... who is active but not washed up!

But would that rubber match interest you MORE than Floyd-Pacman?

As much as I wanna see Marquez finally get a win ON PAPER vs. Pacquiao.
Floyd-Pacquiao is a much bigger deal... though wouldn't it be ironic if Floyd loses controversial SD due to blind judges who don't know wtf is going on when a counter-fighter is winning despite not being on the front foot!

    Arum is a tosser.

The odds are stacked against JJM as it is.

The only reason JJM has come up the ranks is fight Pacquiao.
Came up to 130 for the rematch, then 135, 140 to just for the 3rd fight.

Arum could of made a nice bit of money out of a 3rd fight too :-(

Simply because it would interest me? I liked their other fights?

Judges are not "blind", that wasn't a robbery. Anyway if Pac dominated JMM it would be because JMM was shot overnight and this 3rd fight doesn't count :D. I can just see it. That'll be the excused used, especially by JMM's compatriots, I can tell who they are instantly in these topics. :D

arum is just posturing and feigning disinterest... that's his job being a promoter... he doesn't want team pac to look too eager to fight the winner of floyd-jmm. arum is already doing some pre-negotiation work. i'm sure they're really gunning for the winner of that fight since it will give them the most money especially if the winner turns out to be pbf.
