I don't think he will get knocked down with a chin shot. However, his conditioning is suspect, so you may see Chagaev slipping underneath and doing serious damage to the body with his underrated power

That was a push/slip/balance thing, no real knockdown. If he gets hit often enough by a puncher like Vitali, Wlad or Arreola, he will go down.

I would like to see how his Chin would stand up to one of the Klitschko's.

Guy like Haye, Arreola, Vitali or Wlad would put Valuev down. They would be the first guys to really test that freakshow with the wide speed and power difference.
Valuev's never been in a fight with anyone who would offensively dominate him, first time he meets one he will get chopped down.

He held on the ropes but his knee did not touch the canvas. Therefore he did not go down. No count was issued. It was not a knockdown.

It's the refs judgement. On that occasion, I think it was an ok call.

Did you even watched the fights posted in this thread? Several boxers swing their whole body in their punches and land flush several times, yet the result is minimal.

Evander landed flush with hardly any real effect.

The only way imo to knock him down is if you land like 10 Wladimir Klischko-like straight right bombs within 8 seconds.

What happened to Nobles his loss to Valuev was his only loss and that was a DQ. He'd won three straight or so before he stopped fighting in 2007. One of his wins was against Seldon. Did he retire?

If anybody is going to knock him out it would be David Haye, but I doubt is would happen. The Klitschko's could KO him and probably are the best equiped but theyh would just beat him over 12 rounds.
Haye is the only one with the power to KO him other than the Klitschko's and I think he is the only person crazy enough to attempt it. Although Haye would probably never win on points, he couldn't go 12 rounds without getting caught. And his tactic is noramlly knock the other guy out before he himself gets KO'd.
