Ken Buchanan is scum

However, Buchanan is a fantastic fighter, and regardless of his personal issues has seemed a decent chap out of the ring from what I have seen

 

:good:good:good he is and always will be a champion in my eyes.
i've met him and found that all the negative things i'd read about him in the press were utter crap.

 

I'm a very big fan. People have seemingly ignored most of what he said in the last couple of days, such as 'I obviously won't get a license so it'll have to be white-collar boxing'

You know, the kinda' entertainment where anyone can get in the ring who thinks they can have a go, in a three-rounder (I think)

A 63-year old Buchanan will still know enough to batter most novices, especially cause he doesn't appear to be a normal 60-year old! Some people would go out and get a job after the cash has dried up, but I can't imagine wants to go and work in the local factory, he'd rather take part in glorifed exhibitions.

He should fight Jeff Fenech or Azumah Nelson in an exhibition, that would make him some cash :good

Nobody genuinely thinks Bunchanan is scum, people are just showing up Betty for the hypocrite that he is, slaughtering Hatton for it but not being that bothered when it comes to Buchanan.

it's not obvious because there's no obvious link. Plenty of boxers have referred to themselves in the 3rd person, but nobosy as much as Hatton....and especially when in the very same sentences he's trying to drill it into us all how humble and down-to-earth he is.
