Our top guys need to get more work and thats down to our top promoter Brian Peters.I know its alot to put on one man but he is the only one with the cash to put these guys on against credible opposition.
I think that he could run one every two months, rotate Dunne,Lee and Mc Closkey as the headline and he would fill most halls in Ireland.

you should show this to some of the cuban boys on the other threads and tell them that it was Perez' last fight...They'll have a heart attack!!

I agree, need to see more of these lads, they are all top fighters and as you say could headline on a rotation basis.

they're very sensitive about their boxers..Some of the cuban fans are going mad cos rigondeauxs FIRST pro fight isn't against world class opposition. Crazy!!!

agree with you 100%.however i think its the young fighters peters is throwing on the side of the road.he has done a great job with mccloskey and dunne and even macklin if you count him as a peters fighter....but its the like of murray , o hara ,haughian especially

Duddy and Lee get all the hype...but I've seen Macklin/Elcock a few times now and I genuinely believe Macklin has a better chance of going somewhere with his career. Wayne Elcock is a respected fighter, by no means world class, but a lot better than Billy Lyell or Brian Vera. Matt smashed him, the second he wobbled him he was all over him. He's got great power and now that he is controlling his aggression he looks a very good fighter. His rumoured opponents aren't great, I hope he goes after a top ten fighter. Anyway he'll be on the Khan/Kotelnik card....after that hopefully he will chase the winner of Gevor/Sturm....

Agree with you and Liberties look at the three guys mentioned to headline because these are three of the most recognisable for the general public but look at the the depth of undercard strength,,The hylands of course liberties could top any undercard,Murray,Haughian,Timms, Sweeney,Spike, the three caribean irish guys,Coyle,Moore ,Power...
