You do realise if he fought Pac they would say the same thing, right?

After nearly two years off Marquez isn't a bad fight as his first before going in for Pacquiao. Also I don't think anyone gives a damn about him beating "top dogs" at 147. Mosley has unfinished business with Cotto and Cotto is just coming off a brutal loss to a tomato can, hardly megaevent material there. Even if he stays at 140, Bradley?, Mayweather has done his "division cleaning" long ago, at this stage it's big fights or nothing.

So the fact there is always going to be haters is grounds for taking a less appropriate fight?

Pac has proven himself at a higher weight. He embarrassed the man at 140. JMM dropped plenty of rounds to a past it Casamayor, and a hungry but naturally limited Diaz. He got hit more than ever at 135, and fought competitive fights with guys who aren't close to Pac or Floyd's level. Comparing the two situations is nothing short of pure ignorance. I think Floyd - Pac will inevitably happen, so i am not really holding it against Floyd at this point, but you cannot compare the situation of Pac and JMM.

I'm not the one comparing, just telling what people are ALREADY saying. If you search for comments you can easily see people already saying Floyd is better off fighting Cotto and Mosley than a "smaller" Pacquiao and the fight isn't even on yet. I'm not agreeing with that bull**** just saying what people have already said and WILL say.

Marquez isn't a bad fight for someone coming off two years of inactivity and the catchweight makes it clear that their next target is Pacquiao who Roach already said WON'T fight above 140.

I scored it a draw. But Kenny got plenty of shots in there.

Yeah, gee, I guess Floyd really climbed to the top of the mountain with that one and therefore all other top WW's aren't worthy of him

Hence his penchant for getting smaller fighters to come up to 147 to fight him...I guess when you've "cleaned out your division" like that :)-(), there's nothing else but to pimp lower weightclasses and pray for credibility.

"Owned" is a strong word but he got a slap on the wrist. And I will give it kenny was doing some grandstanding.

Floyd didn't want to touch the subject of fighting Paq with a ten foot pole.

Floyd is going to try to follow in the footsteps of Sugar Ray Leonard after SRL got past kevin Howard. Hand pick his opponents and use his stature and celebrity to get the best deals regarding issues such as weight, glove size, money, titles, ect.

Maybe so many people are suggesting so many names for Floyd to fight because he hasn't actually fought any of them?

Cotto, Mosely, Margarito, Clottey, Williams are all there at 147.

Why wouldn't people want to see him fight these guys?

But Floyd fans will say "Oh, but Cotto just lost to a tomato can in Margo, and Mosely has unfinished business with Cotto, so Floyd doesn't need to fight them". Why are losses on a fighter's record deemed such a valid excuse for not fighting someone? Why is he fighting JMM in that case?

Why don't Floyd fans want to see Floyd fight guys in his division and instead are happier to see him fight smaller fighters moving up?

Why did Floyd only agree to fight Hatton and JMM when they called him out, but ignored everyone else who called him out? :think

Did you see how scared Void was when Mosely's name was mentioned? Void avoided Pac. Pac was more impressive that Void. Oscar beat Void.

Yep. Void will fight the lightweight champion, yet he refused to fight Pac, Mosely, Williams, he refused to fight Margarito before the Mosely fight and he refused to fight Cotto. Void himself is not a big draw, Osar was, Pac and Mosely great draw, bigger than Void any day.

Why would they say that when Pac has proven himself in a weight class HIGHER then what JMM has fought? Why do you INTENTIONALLY IGNORE THAT SCAR?

You guys and you're selective memory. I can't believe that you really did not consider that. I think you just choose to ignore it hoping no one calls you out on it.
