Big Respect to Bute if he comes to Nottingham

Bute is at a point in his career where he needs to have big money fights. So be it for Nottingham if it bring the big bucks.:good

I have no doubt that either fighter would have a problem with that.

 

The best solution to get Bute to agree to fight in Nottm is to agree to a rematch clause in Canada if the loser wants to enforce it, whoever the loser is. Then if they go 1-1, there can be a rubber match up in Vegas or New York!!

In order to keep the IBF title, the winner would have to defend against Andrade first. Bute's coach, Stéphane Larouche, already said the IBF agreed on the unification at that condition. Both boxers are sure to win, so they may not want to ask a rematch clause. We'll see. It could be fun. One thing is sure the way Larouche speaks, they are close to finalize a deal.

If you watch videos of Bute he looks quite articulate and enjoys the limelight.
He was however gifted that long count by the ref.

 

He was up in 8 real seconds. The timekeeper should have rang the bell as soon as his hands cleared the ground. That's the rule. The fight was over right there. He didn't and the mess went on. The ref gave a long count because Andrade didn't respect the rule: he was supposed to stay in his corner and was in the center of the ring.

Taylor was clearly on the floor at 43 seconds and was still down and on his knees at 33 seconds. So it's a KO as he was down for more than 10 seconds.

 

You do realize that a 10 count ain't 10 seconds right?
