Haye's been very inconsistent with what she's said over the months about the Klitschkos. On one hand he calls them slow, boring, robotic and unprepared for what he's going to bring... then there's other times when he makes them out to seem like 8' tall robot war machines that spit lightning and shoot nuclear missles out of their anuses.
It's a tough tight-rope to walk, he has to make them look like monstrous villians that he's going to conquer, he's got to make himself seem like the good guy and he has to at all times make sure that he doesn't tare them down too much or he'll be making it seem like he's going in for a picnic.

I don't really like him or his mouth, but he's trying :happy and that's got to count for something. :thumbsup

Funny how defensive people get when the article's essentially nothing but quotes from people who've actually fought Wlad.

I think Haye is underestimating how good Wlad's jab is, and hard it is to get past. If he lunges foward trying to counter over Wlad's jab he might be in trouble, he is going to have to do more than just time it, he is going to have to get his feet there before he lets the shot go.

Wlad does not reach with the jab, he keeps his weight central, which makes it even harder to get by his jab. I think Haye should temper his confidence a little otherwise he wont be prepared to adjust, if needs to.

All in all it's a good article which quotes fighters who have actually stepped in the ring with the current #1 Heavy. It would be nice if some names showed up on the HW scene to challenge Wlad but with the pessimism running rampant we wouldn't know the next big name if he punched us in the face.
Right now it's Haye, maybe we'll add some of his quotes to this article after it's all said and done on June 20th.

wow this couldnt be any further from the truth , a cautious some might say scard vlad would defeat quite a few all time greats by ud, youve obviously never laid foot in a boxing ring and or know how difficult it is to fight a tall guy with good reach and power who is unwilling to engagae hence never putting himself in harms way, not an exciting fighter by any stretch of the imagination but a technically sound fighter with an effective style driven towards points victorys

What is the difference between Austin and Galento and Leroy Jones and Cleveland Williams and Golota? They all got whooped by dominant champs. Can't call them all bums, they worked hard to get a shot, unfortunately they all came along at a time when a dominant champ was dominating.

To call Austin a bum is ignorant. Austin is a better fighter than he showed. But when you are in with a grand master like Klitschko, there's a good chance you will come out looking second rate. Like Berbick, Tua, Ocasio, Cooney, Golota, Norton, Shavers, etc.

Another thing that actually helps Wladimir is so many people buy the false hype that says he's a big stiff with no jaw, no heart, no balls, just a lucky big guy who came along at the right time. Then when they get in there with Klitschko they realize he's a ****** beast, the ultimate HWT fighting machine, quick, powerful, awesome jab, hand and footspeed, proud and driven. And he's a lot tougher and mentally stronger than the ignorants realize.

THis is what Haye is going to come to realize the hard way, very early on the evening of June 20. Absolutely 1000% guaranteed.
