So Who Really Ended De La Hoya's and Hatton's Career? Pacquiao or Mayweather?

Serious answer please and explanations.

For me the obvious answer is pac ended it all. Oscar announced his retirement and hatton is feeling like in heaven right now. Pac destroyed the two. TKo and KO in faster rounds while floyd had constipation with them. I still see some weirdo's here thinking floyd did it earlier. like the iguana nallege and his BF's jeff and finito, radab and uliuli.

 

De La Hoya = Age

DLH's career was pretty much over by the time Pac fought him. He had been fighting once a year except 08 since taking all of 05 off.

You could say Pac ended Hatton's career but I think Hatton had slipped since losing to Floyd.

 

delahoya had the size advantage and pac was the midget. people and expert in here were making fun of the fight.

hatton fought at 147 which was not his comfort zone. pac brutally KO'd him in his comfort zone of 140.

pac ended their career.

 

at the point floyd fought hatton & oscar they were career defining fights...

after losing both of those fights.. those guys didnt have much of a future...


then going up against pacman it just clearly established the fact that they are done... so i voted both

 

DLH fought Pac at 147 which wasn't his comfort zone and hadn't been for the past 8 years. The size advantage DLH had he couldn't use that night because he was drained.

Pac pretty much did end Hatton's career though.

 

pretty obvious pac did. oscar's prime was back in the 90's up to 2001 or 2002. hatton was alittle past it, but not far from his prime. he can probably still fight on alittle longer, but his style is not one that fits or is recommendable for a very long boxing career.

 

neither of them are done even now, Pac just made them both look like mugs because he's much much better. It's as simple as that, though I accept DLH has seen better says...not shot though. Remember DLH lost most of his big fights, while Hatton was always a B level guy dining out on a dirty win over a semi-retired Tszyu.

 

Father time beat Oscar long before PBF or Pac did it.

Hatton fought stupid and got sparked for it against Pac.

on hatton, floyd exposed him and took something out of him and pac finish the job.

 

Neither. Oscar was more of a business man than fighter and Hatton was never the same after Mayweather. Just look at what Lazcano did to him.
