I kiind of hope that rigo fights but if he is in the wrong i hope he is brought to justice and if that means not fighting so be it . As an irishman it seems like we have just been over looked.
As of now rigo cannot box so he will hae to get his licesnce before the fight
Can anyone tell me why this wasnt reported on and it took a guy from tallaght , in dublin, Ireland to bring this to the attention of the people ? Is it the yanks living up to their stereotype?

Even if he did signed the contract he is not wrong he didnt rob a liquor store or shot a stipper for not giving him an exciting lap dance. If he did wrong it was out of ignorance, he didnt know how the business works, he was fresh off the boat. And I hope Hyde sees that and doesnt think that rigo was trying to screw him

As far as I know he has already been signed to hyde and not signed to ohner, I think the courtcase is a kind of injunction but im not a lawyer in fact i dropped out of law in my first year

i do think oner is an arrogant ******* but how do we know that when he helped him escape he already knew that rigo had signed with hyde. when rigo was in brazil and tried to defect was that set up by hyde or oner?

Im not sure maybe paddy may know but do you know if it is common that the defections are set up or does the fighter leave and then look for a promoter?
My feeling is that the promoter usually sets it up because it would be hard for a fighter to get to a promoter.
Straying from the poin a little i wonder when the cuban team travels is the atmosphere tense at times as there is a chance that one guy might try and run ?

most of the times it is set up, if its a well known fighter it is definitely set up, basically when they leave they already have a situation to go to. specially when they leave in a speedboat.

Is the court date 10 am eastern time or pacific?

I know exactly how rigo got out of Cuba

It makes for an interesting story itself! Gary Hyde will explain the whole thing when we have him on the show.

Its like something out of miami vice
