Wililams is a terrible fight for Cotto. Wouldn't even be entertaining. If Paul had a glass jaw or something there might be an element of intrigue, but in the real world he doesn't so there isn't one. Worthless fight, and a step backward for both as it would prove nothing.

Woah, I read this backwards. :yep When Clottey beats Cotto? Maybe. I give Joshua like 40%. Mosley schools him. Williams probably beats him. Pacquiao...not sure. He isn't a complete no-hope against Mayweather but I certainly wouldn't favor him.

I've been one of Hitter's big supporters on here since pre-Margo and have defended him with a metaphorical high turtleshell guard through thick and thin. Even so, I wouldn't say he's much more than a B-level fringe guy. Destined to be "always the bridesmad, never the bride" - a perennial top ten fighter who isn't likely to crack five unless all the elites in the division bail.

Mosley schools him.,, Haha, man Margarito gets exposed, and people forget the Mosley of Mayorga.

Even Mr. Richardson doesn't have enough gameplan to deal with the Clottey beast.

What about that Mosley? Mayorga fought his heart out. Shane was coming off a loss. Once he adjusted he controlled the fight. Clottey doesn't have a hard time against Mayorga? How's he going to deal with wild aggression, make Ricardo respect his power??:lol: No, he's going to put up his shield and get batted around en route to a decision win based solely on cleaner (but sporadic) punching.

Clottey would systematically destroy Mayorga within 6-8. Relatively Easy, methodical night.

Mayorga would get counterpunched all round every round. His power is only decent not denying it, but its the crispness and accuracy and speed of his punches which hurts opponents.

Mayorga gets put away with monster shots, which Clottey doesn't have in his arsenal. Show me where Mayorga's been worn down by attrition (unless it's attrition of...guess what...monster shots)? Mayorga does have a shaky chin - strictly against strong, elite welterweight bangers - something Hitter just isn't.

Like I said, Clottey is a very live dog. I give him 40% and I'm sure a lot of people feel I'm being generous there. Let's not go crazy though. Clottey is not the head-to-head king at 147. Like I said, there's a long line ahead of him that would need to retire or jump weight for that to be the case. :good
