I agree that PBF is more gifted than Pac.

But I see one advantage Pac has over PBF.

Roach/Team Pilipinas. They will find a weakness as they did on DLH and Hatton.

He's bigger...he's not faster and I'm not even sold on Floyd being stronger. Both men right now are the very best in boxing. Both have differnt styles but both have similar strenghts.

    Both have great speed
    both have great reflexes
both have a **** load of natrual ability and talent

Floyd is the better technical boxer
PAC is the better overall fighter

It will be Skills vs Will. PAC has proven to have what it takes to beat boxers with more fluidity and skills in the past. Now PAC has very well rounded skills himself but it's his heart, will, and determination that I think gives him the edge over all of his competitors.

The BIG question is....... can those attributes that PAC definitly has overcome the supremem skill that Mayweather definitly has? I always go with the skill...but PAC has made me eat my words betting on pure logic going against him. Either way it will be a competive fight.

He better do something then to keep Manny off him. Manny has been in many wars, and takes a good shot.
You floyd fans are rediculous. I HATE floyd, LOVE Manny, and yet...I'm not to blind to see this fight is like 50/50.
Mayweather= Defensive master (beautiful counters, great movement, great speed, great reflexes, doesn't get caught with good punches, etc)
Pac=Offensive master (hard hitter, fast hands, great movement, great speed, takes a good punch, etc)

You people are straight up ignorant, and just haters. You don't like Manny...Get the F*ck over it! As for anybody who thinks Floyd is much bigger...Please. I guarantee when they fight they'll both pretty much come in at the same exact weight as eachother (give or take 2 pounds).
I also think your in for a rude awakening if you think Mayweather is going to run over JMM. The man is a damn warrior, and isn't going to let anyone run him over. I doubt he wins....but wouldn't be surprised if he does.

He's not good....the man is great. He's great like Mayweather is Great. You don't become P4P #1/Uno by being "good".

"To each their own" brah.....No problem having an opinion...everyone has them. Just don't go betting the "house" on a "EASY" or "DOMINATING" win for Floyd or Shane should the fight happen.

I am a big fan of pacquiao, but i believe the hatton and de la hoya wins have garnered him some over the top praise.. but saying that I think he still has a good chance especially against a possibly aging/inactive Mayweather.. for me speed is a wash in this fight.. not sure on power i'd give the nod slightly to Mayweather as he managed to buckle a determined and healthy De La Hoya (common foe) sure he made the distance but we all know about this issue by now. One advantage I will give to Pacquiao is his south paw stance and weird almost martial arts style/speed of delivering punches that are almost impossible to see coming.

Pac deserves all the hype his getting. He destroyed both oscar and hatton like no one has ever than to them before. Delahoya was KO by hopkins but he wasn't dominated like pac did to him.

Hatton was KO by mayweather but not as brutal as what pac did to him.

pac is faster and stronger and has developed into a boxer puncher. pac can beat mayweather for sure.

Surely you must acknowledge that Pacquiao has improved drastically since then? His footwork and movement are far better, he is far more elusive on account of this, and he seems to have added more variety to his attack and the extra weight has given him extra power. Pacquiao is a better fighter now than he was at super-featherweight. I feel sure he will prove this against Mayweather (or Marquez).

I don't know what you're problem is and why you're going off on me. I've said nothing negative about Pac.

I think Mayweather is severely underestimating Pac. His ignorance really shows when he taks about him. Just because you are more skilled than someone doesnt mean you can beat them. Pac is faster . He is also a bit wild and unorthodox ESPECIALLY coming from southpaw.

Maywaether cant use the shoulder roll agaisnt Pac , it will look like Mayweather sr. agasint SRL

    - His right hook goes over the shoulder and lands on the temple

    - His right hook lands all over the left side of Mayweather's body if he decides to just fold over to try to duck.

Mayweather right hand wont really be relieable to block the straight left either ... Think Tarvers shot on Jones

Hes going to have to use a high guard agaisnt Pac like he did agaisnt Judah, which will slow him down considerably.

Mayweather can get outworked with using high guard

    and ko'd using shoulder roll.

Mayweather is still the man to beat and beating him wont be easy.
Mayweather still has the edge here because I am not sure how Pac reponds to missing and getting countered.

If he stays game he will finish the fight. Becoming more popular ... a win - win for PAc

I'm sure you will notice that Pac's biggest problem was avoiding that right hand from Marquez. I'm sure you'll also notice that his last 3 opponents since that fight have all been left hand dominant fighters. We really don't know how much Pac's improved in terms of dealing with right hands.

Good point!:good The right hand will be Key for Floyd. Hopefully PAC and Roach have worked on this in the gym. It seems like they worked on every other flaw PAC had.

I've seen this before. Pacman Doesn't stand a chance against Oscar because he's a natural Middleweight, Taller, Bigger and Stronger than Pacquiao. Well we all know what happened. Then there came the issue of Oscar was too old, weight drained, etc. So what will happen when Pacman again does the same thing? Floyd was came off a long retirement, he wasn't himself, he's old, weight drained although that will not be the case because they will be at the same weight class. What else? Oh! there was a personal problems inside his team that bothered him, DAD was sick... IRS was harassing him.... Etc.

Both are great fighters and will provide deep problems to each other if they fight. One thing I know for sure is that Floyd will not engage Pacman. He will hit and run the whole entire night. Pacman will be hard to hit since he has head movement. Pacman is also fighting at a weight class where he is comfortable unlike when he fought Marquez the second time and had a hard time because of weight issues.
