It was a joke wasnt it, when I got crushed for the 2nd time, that was it for me, it took the wind out of me and I was in panic for like 3 or 4 seconds till the pushing move in a differnt direction, after that I was done, I left, it could have been alot worse than it was.
To be honest, all I could think about was Hillsborough. Did you see the guy who passed out? I didn't see it.
thats what crossed my mind, a mini-hillsborough, yeah that lad was about three people to my right, I ended up by the window, left of the door, he was in there looking pretty bad on one of the seats, he couldnt even walk, he was carried.
Was he a small ginger guy by any chance? I was by the window to the right of the door, which is what panicked me. Nowhere to go.
nah he wasnt ginger, looked about 18, brown hair, I **** it when I was pushed against the window, I could feel it moving and was expecting to go through the ****er at any second, that was me done.
Yeah same. As soon as I felt the push I was gone. I started to panic as well, seeing all the people around me and no escape.
That's exactly what I thought of, Hillsbrough. Poorly planned, poorly structured and poorly executed. And people ended up getting hurt as a result. ****ing shambles.
I posted this on the Brit forum a while ago: Not long back from the workout and Peacocks really f**ked up. We got there at about two and there were already about 400-500 people not being allowed in. More and more people came but there was no order. There were no barriers or a queue, just about 1000 angry people outside a small gym. Floyd's mum was there and got a big cheer. Floyd showed up at about 4PM. My dad walked down to his car and got to shake his hand . We got locked out, people were bum rushing the door, trying to get past security, they eventually got the door shut and tried to bring down the shutter but people were standing there holding it up. Uncle Roger turned up about 20 mins later. Roger came to a balcony on top of the gym and said that Floyd would come up to speak to his fans who were locked out. We waited until about 6:30 and Floyd came on the balcony and posed, he then said he was coming down. He was behind a gate and signed a few things before leaving in his car. In the lull between him going in and leaving I met Ola Afolabi I got him to sign a glove and he posed for a pic which i'll upload. Someone said he should fight Clinton Woods and he replied "Who da f**k is Clinton Woods?" He said he doesn't know when he's fighting next and he thinks Wlad will KO Haye. All in all: Peacocks :-( Floyd :good Ola :thumbsup
im looking at the mayweather doppler 3000 and its a media storm!! this guy sure knows how to market himself.
See, that was absolutely respectful from PBF to all that showed up (other than the reports of being late, that IS disrespectful). BUT, what a business man, and nice way to win over a whole other demographic of fans there. Go PBF!!! Good work.
