To execute this strategy effectively Haye would have to be a much tougher fighter with better conditioning and a great chin. He would have to also be fighting the much more inexperienced Wlad Klitschko that Sanders fought. Young, arrogant Wlad idiotically got up time and again and attacked Sanders when he was hurt. He only needed to back off and jab at Sanders from distance and wait for Corrie to gas out. Wlad will clinch Haye if he gets inside and wear him out. He will also move laterally away from Haye's vaunted power right hand and harass Haye with his power left jab. When Haye starts to tire he loops his punches and then Wlad will begin to drive overhand rights right down the middle. Mr. Haye, "Goodnight, sweet prince."

Minor point, but Wlad is usually closer to 240 than to 250. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he weighs in at under 240 like he did vs. Ibragimov (to maximize his speed).

Haye is also cut to shreds, so a 215lb Haye probably has slightly more muscle mass than a 215 lb Foreman. Haye also says he had a tough time making weight for cruiser. Even if Haye needs weight training to come in at his heavyweight target, the end result is a man who is as big and muscular as a feared heavyweight powerhouse (at least for Barrett we'll see if he's actually lighter vs. Wlad).

Yeah, you're right. Wlad's usually just a few pounds over 240. If Haye comes in ripped at 215lbs. he has the proverbially puncher's chance. As Ken Norton always said when color commenting heavyweight fights; anything can happen in boxing, ESPECIALLY heavyweight boxing. If indeed he has been losing some muscle mass from all the aerobic work, sparring, roadwork, etc; he will get beat up bad by the giant Ukrainian.

Vlad did not have to fight Haye. Haye is not mandatory.

So, if Vlad is so afraid of Haye, then why did he sign to fight him?

If Vlad has zero chance vs. Haye, why did he sign?

Sorry bro, I'm sticking with my gut on this one. Wlad is unbeaten for a very long time, and there's a reason for that.

They were good enoug on Wlad's worst nights. Bringing up his losses is only relevant if you think Wlad will have another off - night. We all saw what Wlad on top of his game did to Brewster.

On his best nights, Wlad has beaten better fighter than anyone Haye ever faced.

If you bother reading through the half a million ******ed posts on this fight, you will notice a lot of people were saying that the rematch clauses proved Wlad was scared of Haye.

As farmboxer points out, if Wlad was scared, he didn't have to take the fight.

Then further ******s try to say that Haye forced Wlad to fight him by calling him out and being disrespectful.

Of course Shannon Briggs is doing the same thing, no one thinks Wlad is forced to fight him.

It goes in circles, round and round, and each time it completes a full circle the average IQ of the world has dropped another point.

Well, no one has got past Wlad's jab, except for Sanders. But Wlad underestimated the speedy southpaw. He won't underestimate Haye.

To quote Tyson, everyone had a plan until they get hit. We will see what Haye's plan is once he gets hit. Will Haye risk his weak chin, or run like most of Wlad's opponents have?

Um, Brewster also did a good job of taking Waldo's jab before dishing out some mean left hooks. :deal
