If Pacquiao-Mayweather Fight is at Wembley Stadium, Who would the crowd Cheer?

they would both get cheered imo. People would cheer the event more than a single fighter in this case

Pacquiao would have by far the biggest and loudest support in the crowd due to Filipinos who live in the UK.

Rest of the crowd would be split/neutral and obviously not nearly so passionate with it.

 

There are about 200,000 filipinos in the UK. I happen to know a few, hardly any of them are fans of any sport, but they are all fans of Manny Pacquiao.

 

All the Hatton fans would cheer for Pac, as Floyd was a ****.

 

Pac man easily. Mayweather comes across as a typical arrogant yank, whilst Pac is humble. The crowd would hate Mayweather.

 

I think most British fans took all of Floyd's antics before the Hatton fight in good spirit, and after they fought I don't think any of us Brits had any hard feelings towards Floyd.

However... the one thing every casual fan I've spoken to about the Hatton/Pac fight mentions is Manny and his team still wildly celebrating when Hatton had been literally unconscious (and for all we knew at the time, dying!) for three minutes or so. I don't think Floyd would have done this and if he and Manny fight over here I can see Floyd getting a lot of support just because of it.

Hatton has said countless times that he thinks Floyd Jr is a great fighter but a complete dickhead. You will never catch these two hanging out together at a pub playing darts with one another like Hatton and Pac did.. so yeah.. I think you're completely full of it...

And we all know what happened with the fallout of Floyd Sr. as his trainer... I really don't think Ricky cares for anybody named Mayweather honestly..

 

I dunno about 'Global Icon'... If he walked down any street in any European country without his entourage he wouldn't even get a second look from the majority of people. As apposed to someone like Beckham, Ronaldo, Messi etc who would get fvcking mobbed in any street from Asia to Africa to Europe to South America...

 

i dnt no i would say mayweather. what i do know is that i would club baby seals for a ticket if was at wembley
