    Pacquiao has a great resume.

I feel Morales and Barrera are overrated. Just a step above guys like Carlos Hernandez and Jesus Chavez, but good scalps. Even if Morales and Barrera had been exposed by other guys beforehand. I think Marquez was and is the far greater fighter of both.

However that doesnt take away the fact that he jumped multiple weights, and looked great doing it.

The problem is that Floyd won't fight them. I know people are going to get mad at my post for this. But he seems to always try to duck them in some way. I think Floyd should stay with the bigger guys and if he really is #1 pvp, then prove it in the WW

I don't believe they are actually overrated, you have to understand that the smaller guys fight a bit different than the bigger guys.

But none the less, no one can take away pacquiao fighting bigger guys at their weight, and demolishing them

Nope. Same level. Comparable resume's. H2H Corrales would beat both at 130. Probably by KO. Look what Junior Jones and Zahir Raheem did to them.

well i think you're by far one of the very very few that would say that Barrera and Morales are not a level above Castillo and Corrales.

You also have to take into account at what time these fighters fought. Lets use Izzy/Marquez as an example they just came out of 3 huge wars, would you give JuanMa full credit if he defeated Izzy? I know I wouldnt. Although they are great wins for Pac I still rank a prime Castillo a far better win than a shot Morales.

Even the Barrera and Morales that Pac beat? Those versions? Why? Zahir Raheem beat Morales, then immediately lost to Acelino Frietas. 2 fights before Frietas got TKO'd by Corrales?

I dont like to use, this fighter beat that fighter, so this fighter beats him, but you can clearly see, Corrales was at that level.

It's easy; styles make fights. Morales' handlers never should have let him fight Raheem. Terrible style matchup for Morales.

Any novice boxing fan could see that.

Morales was still the man at 130lbs and was still on Ring Magazine's top10 p4p when Pac knocked him out. But I agree that you could make a solid point that by the 2nd fight he was fading but if you watch the fight you can see he is not shot until the 3rd one. As for the Raheem fight it seems more like a case of Morales underestimating and not taking Raheem seriously. He clearly came in better trained for the 2nd Pac fight.

And in the first fight lets look at it from Pac's point of view. He's just recently moved up to 126 and now he moves up again to 130 and fights Morales, the best fighter in that division, right off the bat. To top it off he gets a cut from a headclash over his eye in the 5th round. Look at the pictures below. Despite that he only loses by 2 points.

And Barrera you say "that version" of Barrera, then you only talk about Morales. Well that version of Barrera was coming off the best win streak of his career and was a top3 fighter p4p. After that he went on another impressive win streak. Pacquiao just destroyed him easily. You could say his training camp wasn't the best, but the fight wasn't even competitive.

Speaking of Corrales, "that version" of Corrales was in terrible shape. Floyd definately looked amazing but Corrales had already vacated his title to move up to lightweight before deciding to stay at 130 for the Mayweather fight. To top it off he was facing a trial and jail time. I believe Morales from the 2nd fight would have knocked out Corrales easily on that night.

And Castillo was a very good fighter at the time of the fight, but not on the level of Barrera and Morales. I scored the first one 114-112 for Castillo, the 2nd one was also a close fight in which Castillo won 4 or 5 rounds. Not the schooling people claim it was.

I don't think that highly of Barerra and the win over Morales was because he had the advantage at that weight. Barerra had already lost to Raheem and was drained from coming down to 130 again ...

    Shame on Pacquiao

Pacquiao can't do #'s with anyone out there other than Mayweather - but on the other end Mayweather can do #'s with just about anyone and he's proved that.

Lmaooo if floyd had any balls then he should have return and challenge those welterweights you mentioned. Instead he is fighting who? a blown up lightweight in marquez. :patsch:rofl

Resume comparable to margarito? :patsch He beat 3 hall of famers at super featherweight and those 3 will probably end up as one of the best at lower weight class.

U just mad cuz pac made it look easy destroying delahoya and hatton. At least pac has the balls to face cotto unlike floyd who retired instead of taking on cotto:rofl
